I have been here two months now, and i can honestly say that the people are friendly. The people are at first surprised to find out i'm not japanese, but make great efforts to help me understand. I can't say i'm getting the rock star treatment like some of the other foreign english teachers (and when i say foreign i mean the white-anglo variety), but as much as i want this preferred treatment because i'm new, foreign, and want as easier transition into japanese l... read more
