about me
I first started belly dancing in the late 80's. I have had to quit twice through the years for stupid reasons but always went back. After approx. a 12 year hiatus from this dance I love so much, I'm back again. On Sept. 20th I went to the Warren Road Community Center (same place I was going 12 years ago) and found a great bunch of dancers and a great instructor. The instructor I had when I left had moved to Fla. and now one of her students is teaching. This is fun for me because I can see alot of Gayle's (former inst.) style in Mari's (present inst.) teaching but I can also see Mari's personal style. I tell you what...... Mari can shake her hips and shimmy like there's no tomorrow. I'm really glad I decided to go back (don't think I'll EVER stop again) and I was amazed at how much I retained, now I just have to retrain ALL of my muscles. I hate to admit it but.......... I'm outta shape! Yours in dance, Stacy

Some hours later, Tonto wakes the Lone Ranger and says, "Kemo Sabe, look towards sky, what you see?"
The Lone Ranger replies, "I see millions of stars."
"What that tell you?" asked Tonto.
The Lone Ranger ponders for a minute then says;
"Well... Astronomically speaking, it tells me there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets.

I worked for Bechtel Savannah River for 15 years and got laid off in July of 2005. I took a break for about 6 months, went back to work in January of 2006 only to be laid off again in June of the same year. Mind you, this didn't really hurt my feelings considering this was the most unprofessional, unorganized, "left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and visa versa" place I have ever had the misfortune of working at IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! {awww, come on Stacy....... tell us how you... read more

If I only had $78 million dollars............

BUCHAREST, Romania - The Habsburg family said Wednesday that it wanted to sell a Transylvanian castle famous for its connections to the 15th century medieval ruler who inspired "Dracula" for 60 million euros, or $78 million, to the local authorities, an attorney said.

The local council says it is interested in buying Bran Castle, but a government minister criticized the price tag, calling it too expensive. Dominic Habsburg, the owner, insi... read more
