THE LONE RANGER AND TONTO.......... NEXT TIME YOU GO CAMPING WATCH OUT!

<div>The Lone Ranger and Tonto went camping in the desert.
After they got their tent all set up, both men fell sound asleep.
Some hours later, Tonto wakes the Lone Ranger and says, "Kemo Sabe, look towards sky, what you see?"
The Lone Ranger replies, "I see millions of stars."
"What that tell you?" asked Tonto.
The Lone Ranger ponders for a minute then says;
"Well... Astronomically speaking, it tells me there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets.
... Astrologically, it tells me that Saturn is in Leo.
... Time wise, it appears to be approximately a quarter past three in the morning.
... Theologically, the Lord is all-powerful and we are small and insignificant.
... Meteorologically, it seems we will have a beautiful day tomorrow.
What's it tell you, Tonto?"
"You dumber than buffalo shit. Someone stole the tent."</div>

Supporting my habit

<div>I worked for Bechtel Savannah River for 15 years and got laid off in July of 2005.  I took a break for about 6 months, went back to work in January of 2006 only to be laid off again in June of the same year.  Mind you, this didn't really hurt my feelings considering this was the most unprofessional, unorganized, "left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and visa versa" place I have ever had the misfortune of working at IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! {awww, come on Stacy.......  tell us how you really feel}

So where was I...........  oh yea, laid off since June of 2006, {2nd time in as many years} thank goodness of unemployment benefits.  Looking everyday for a job but nuttin to be found.  I sent out resume after resume, went for testing, interviews, etc. but nothing.   Everyone I interviewed with told me how "outstanding" and "impressive" my resume and skills were and that I was very qualified but did they hire me........ no. {had one manager tell me I was over-qualified, ain't that some shit.  I thought that only happened in sitcoms}

I put deodorant on, I brushed my teeth, combed my hair, you know............. all those things you do so as not to have personal hygiene comparable to a gorilla.

I sent my resume to Career Personnel on Broad St. on Friday of last week. They call me yesterday to come in today for an interview and to fill out all of their paperwork. I walked in at 9:30 a.m. this morning and when I walked out at 10:45 I had a job. I couldn't believe it. I've got a job.

So now I can support my habit. You know the habit I'm talkin' about ladies. You see colorful belts with shisha mirrors and cowrie shells and you fall into a deep trance, heavy metal takes on a whole new meaning, you hit clearance sales and bargin bins only to dismember the item when you get home........... you know.</div>

    </a>
										<div>If I only had $78 million dollars............

BUCHAREST, Romania - The Habsburg family said Wednesday that it wanted to sell a Transylvanian castle famous for its connections to the 15th century medieval ruler who inspired "Dracula" for 60 million euros, or $78 million, to the local authorities, an attorney said.

The local council says it is interested in buying Bran Castle, but a government minister criticized the price tag, calling it too expensive. Dominic Habsburg, the owner, insisted the family had honorable intentions. "We are trying to find the best way to preserve the castle in the interest of the family and the people of Bran," Habsburg said in a statement made available exclusively to The Associated Press.

The castle was returned to Habsburg, a New York architect, on May 26, decades after it was confiscated by the communists from Habsburg's mother, Princess Ileana, in 1948, the year the royals were forced to leave the country.

After the restitution, concerns were raised that the family could sell castle to a hotel chain and that the site could end up being the centerpiece of a Dracula theme park that would blight the surrounding, pristine countryside.

The castle, perched high on a rock and surrounded by snowcapped mountains in southern Transylvania, is one of Romania's top tourist attractions and is visited by 400,000 people each year.

Faced with the enormous expense of the castle's upkeep, Habsburg said he wanted to place the property in the hands of the local council with an eye toward ensuring its historic character is preserved.

"The family has the country and the people in their heart. We are grateful for the restitution as a moral act to amend injustice," the statement from Habsburg said. But he added, "The way of life cannot be returned and the restitution has come with financial sacrifice. ... We would like Castle Bran to remain a symbol of everything that is honorable and good in Romania."

The community of Bran, where the fortress was built in the 14th century to help stave off invasion, gave it to Ileana's mother, Queen Marie, in 1920 to thank her for her efforts in unifying the country. It was briefly associated with Prince "Vlad the Impaler," whose cruelty inspired novelist Bram Stoker's creation, the vampire Count Dracula. History says he spent one night there.

In 1938, Ileana inherited the castle, which is located some 105 miles north of Bucharest. In recent years, the castle — complete with occasional glimpses of bats floating around its ramparts in the twilight — has attracted movie makers as a backdrop for films about Dracula and other spooky themes.

Lia Trandafir, an attorney for Habsburg, said the local authorities are interested in buying it. "They'd like to see it coming back to the community and they consider it a central pillar of tourism in Brasov county," she said.

Aristotel Cancescu, head of the local city council is due to travel to Vienna, Austria, on Monday to open discussions about a bank loan. If he manages to secure a loan, it will need to be approved by local councilors.

Culture Minister Adrian Iorgulescu has criticized the planned purchase of the castle, saying it is too expensive. "I have nothing against the castle being bought by the city council if they are stupid enough to pay this money," he said. He added he believed the castle was worth a fourth of Habsburg's asking price.</div>

Wrapping Presents with a Cat

<div>This is kinda long but if you have or ever had a cat, it's so worth the read......

1. Clear large space on table for wrapping present.

2. Go to closet and collect bag in which present is contained, and shut door.

3. Open door and remove cat from closet.

4. Go to cupboard and retrieve rolls of wrapping paper.

5. Go back and remove cat from cupboard.

6. Go to drawer, and collect transparent sticky tape, ribbons, scissors, labels, etc. . .

7. Lay out presents and wrapping materials on table, to enable wrapping strategy to be formed.

8. Go back to drawer to get string, remove cat that has been in the drawer since last visit and collect string.

9. Remove present from bag.

10. Remove cat from bag .

11. Open box to check present, remove cat from box, replace present.

12. Lay out paper to enable cutting to size.

13. Try and smooth out paper, realize cat is underneath and remove cat.

14. Cut the paper to size, keeping the cutting line straight.

15. Throw away first sheet as cat chased the scissors, and tore the paper.

16. Cut second sheet of paper to size - by putting cat in the bag the present came in.

17. Place present on paper.

18. Lift up edges of paper to seal in present. Wonder why edges don't reach. Realize cat is between present and paper. Remove cat.

19. Place object on paper, to hold in place while tearing transparent sticky tape.

20. Spend 20 minutes carefully trying to remove transparent sticky tape from cat with pair of nail scissors.

21. Seal paper with sticky tape, making corners as neat as possible.

22. Look for roll of ribbon. Chase cat down hall in order to retrieve ribbon.

23. Try to wrap present with ribbon in a two-directional turn.

24. Re-roll ribbon and remove paper, which is now torn due to cat's enthusiastic ribbon chase.

25. Repeat steps 13-20 until you reach last sheet of paper.

26. Decide to skip steps 13-17 in order to save time and reduce risk of losing last sheet of paper. Retrieve old cardboard box that is the right size for sheet of paper.

27. Put present in box, and tie down with string.

28. Remove string, open box and remove cat.

29. Put all packing materials in bag with present and head for locked room.

30. Once inside lockable room, lock door and start to re-lay out paper and materials.

31. Remove cat from box, unlock door, put cat outside door, close and relock.

32. Repeat previous step as often as is necessary (until you can hear cat from outside door)

33. Lay out last sheet of paper. (This will be difficult in the small area of the toilet, but do your best )

34. Discover cat has already torn paper. Unlock door go out and hunt through various cupboards, looking for sheet of last year's paper. Remember that you haven't got any left because cat helped with this last year as well.

35. Return to lockable room, lock door, and sit on toilet and try to make torn sheet of paper look presentable.

36. Seal box, wrap with paper and repair by very carefully sealing with sticky tape. Tie up with ribbon and decorate with bows to hide worst areas.

37. Label. Sit back and admire your handiwork, congratulate yourself on completing a difficult job.

38. Unlock door, and go to kitchen to make drink and feed cat.

39. Spend 15 minutes looking for cat until coming to obvious conclusion.

40. Unwrap present, untie box and remove cat.

41. Go to store and buy a gift bag.</div>

<div>When I first started dancing, it seemed everyone was cabaret style (self included) but now tribal has a huge presence in the belly dance world. I must admit, when I got my first glimpse at this dance style I wasn't sure what to think. I couldn't make up my mind if I liked it or not. Someone once told me, "when you don't know what to do, don't do anything." So I sat back and I watched with closed mouth and open mind. Now the more I watch and learn the more I like it and want to learn more.

Since I'm basicly a beginner again, it's to soon for me to do any public performances (right now my cats are my audience) but I'm practicing almost everyday (working on making this everyday) and already working on a tribal costume in anticipation of performing again.</div>
