I'm a social worker and psychotherapist, once a starving writer, grew up in Vermont, lived in vipassana community for a number of years working as a cook, sat long retreats, traveled in India and Burma and Thailand. Now I'm much more "in the world," and moving toward embracing and holding what have seemed disparate aspects of myself: contemplative, wild, spiritual, intellectual, dreamy, artistic, social, solitary, urban, rural, physical, sexual, psychological.
