about me
I am a Professional Aerialist (both Performer and Instructor). I've recently moved back to my hometown, Scottsdale, AZ. I lived in the SF Bay Area for over 8 years, teaching and performing for Gregangelo & Velocity Circus/Arts and Entertainment and for Trapeze Arts in Oakland. I've now started my own school--Circus School of Arizona--where I am teaching circus aerial classes at various locations in the Greater Phoenix Area. Within the next few years I am working on extending the school into a full circus school--with flying trapeze, trampoline, acrobatics, contortion, etc. I will likely be turning the school into a nonprofit and seeking help to build the facility and to be able to receive grant funding for programming. Democrats and Republicans (who are sick of the present GOP values) are welcome too.
If you are not a registered voter, please pass this on to registered voters who you think will sign this petition.

I ended up going with what I could afford. I really felt that anything under $1 million dollar aggregate would not be enough to get me in the door to teach at most places....So I had to go with a policy with $1 million aggregate per person and with coverage only in Arizona.
To have $1 million aggregate and coverage to teach anywhere in the US and abroad, it would have cost nearly $5,000.00--I can't afford this at the present time. I hope to expand to such coverage later on, in the mean...

I've had insurance for performing and rigging for many years now--through Clowns of the US. Many of you might not realize that this insurance does NOT cover teaching. I found that out when I called Stephanie of COTUS.
So I recently got back 2 quotes from insurance companies/brokers for teaching aerial workshops/classes. The 2 quotes were dramatically different. One quote was over $2,000.00 per year and the other was $25,000.00 per year. I will most likely go with the company with the sma...

Even though she has never met me, Rachel has been extremely giving of her time and knowledge of aerial arts. I hope to learn from her in person someday!
