Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vac... read more
Almost anything that has a "New" feeling doesn't make sense at first. As time passes everything makes sense even if you move into the position or take a stance of disagreement. I can really appreciate the power that disagreement or even uncertainty carries. Everyone has an opportunity to change their mind or strengthen their stance.

As one anonymous writer once said, "What is, is; What isn't, isn't".
I believe it is better to examine what we do not trust. There lies a problem or at least a problem for now. Or, we can call it the Messenger.

The things we experience in life that we trust are happening effortlessly. We know and enjoy them. The problem however, cannot be trusted. It can come up uninvited and unexpected. He spoke familiarly of this daimon, joked about it and obeyed blindly the indications it gave. Eventually, his friends never took an important step without consulting it. But the daimon had... read more

Long ago, or today, or many years from now - a raindrop is born. It comes from the nothingness of a cloud. As it grows, it becomes aware that it is light and wet, and it can ride the wind! It plays with the other raindrops, sometimes changing into funny shapes to get some laughs. Or it flattens out to ride the wind like a Frisbee. Other times, the raindrop and it's friends bounce off each other like playful bumper cars. The raindrop has a simple and very happy life. O... read more
Re: Dismemberment
(in Shamanism)
I, at times, am in drawn-out amazement at how subtlely we are held together. Emotionally, physically. We barely exist (in Time). We were barely born, and we barely die in physical form. With this, I make the statement, "I affirm life".

Yeah, you know what "they" say about HOPE. HOPE is still in the future and still unconvinced.

Yes,,, awesome. I always love to have met people, even on the internet that are able to talk about their experiences in a forum beyond the water cooler. Keep it up.
