Cherished by her cresent..she admired the power of the stars..Shooting & peaking between high towers..it was known that incidents like these..was a specialty..Pure thoughts of future..possible control-possible..quality control-possible..Gleams of soul struck her men with eyes of desire..all feared her fierceness..Possessed by the tribal fire..warm vibrations mingled us under the night sky..Quantumed she was my friend..love..sister..stood soley..Understanding was our tool..Our orbit positively syncing..

Katrina Browne is a hip, educated descendant of a prosperous plantation and slave owner, Mark Anthony DeWolf. Katrina Brown uses journals that DeWolf and other family members left behind in an attempt to come to terms with her family history and the consequences of her family's decisions and actions. She also traces the journey that slaves very likely would have made in getting to DeWolf's plantations. It makes a lot of sense that SHE would be doing such a thing, as she has access to such revealing information. By sharing her journey with us, she provides a new way of processing and dealing with a piece of US history that can be so frustrating. If Katrina Brown can productively deal with her family's history of propagating slavery, I have hope that as a society, we will also find a way.
