Weaving words of wool (blog entry) Winds swirl and swoop
their sways clamber down clouds
that've come to kiss thunder touched grounds

Stand still hammering heart apart
a form of me whispers the stir of tempest
back to silences which swallow all blabber

and anchor wisdom with ink (blog entry) *this will need some revisiting and fine tuning*

It wouldn’t be fair to lay those feathers
on grounds unfamiliar with lightness
Their touch of colour is bound for flights
of skin readied by destiny’s weight
Freefall scares can’t stop a stro... read more

Dusks Dissection (blog entry) *After a year and a half of ruminations, I've mulched over a different version of the first poem I posted here on tribe*

NO Not long enough

My ovation to evolution (blog entry) It lives this island at the mouth of an ocean
translated from fire to this watery language
kept a taste of heat a hint of spice flowers the wind

Jan.23, 2008 (blog entry) I'm sitting directly on the rocks of the beach
There's only a faint wind and the sun shines

So save your sermon but instead
spill from your heart restored a beauty to soak
some seat since no one kneels anymore

Sad what's left
to cloak the furnace that spins
the Earth

How wet will our cheeks get
before it falls over fearful faces

It wouldn’t be fair to lay those feathers
on grounds unfamiliar with lightness
Their touch of colour is bound for flights
of skin readied by destiny’s weight
Freefall scares can’t stop a stroke or caress
gives us one chance to grasp god’s gasp
at work in our motion stilled

It would be sacrilegious to understand
how a humpback prevails on killer whales
Its airborne leap is to consciousness
what in evolution drew us to desire

the dusting of lavender
Skies: causes for longing Oh!
tender life Yes, how to hold
Those brief passings of eternities

Thus I envy envy the evening eye
and the peaceful parting
between day and night
Again yet again smiling to
the brightness of the bones...

What magic lays therein?
Behold how dusks dissect with

A sea's a strait here stretches more than liquid shapes
history of deep peaks backs surface scales to skin
while these creatures crawl floors beneath baby's feet
become roof's future and it's why we stand

This notion moved us upright

Swimming's now a march to mark a new hierarchy
from prints in the sand to sky scraping aspirations

I'm sitting directly on the rocks of the beach
There's only a faint wind and the sun shines
High tide, little waves; the kelp field undulates
Ducks and seagulls visit this meeting place
Where the Earth greets the Water
Where the horizon stretches the eye; half a blink
The crown of the sky lowers the mountain's edge
In anticipation for an embrace that ever fails
What falls here no one catches cold handed
