about me
I am a series of random and bizarre events. I am part revolutionary, part pacifist, part hippie, part computer geek, part metal head, part folky, part drifter, part galactic hitchhiker, part poet and writer, part idealistic dreamer, part realistic cynic, part philosopher, part bumbling fool, part hopeless romantic, part recluse, part socialite. I am an enigma wrapped in bacon and deep fried. I am shy and bold and full of contradictions. I have this talent of falling down rabbit holes and coming out the other end finding myself in the strangest places. If there is any other part of me you want to see, just ask ;)

Ancestors guard the truths of death; songbirds gossip to the sky; we feed upon memories of life. Witness the world mature through flames merging with seabed, forming the grasslands; animated and cleansed wit... read more
[ This song randomly came up on my MP3 player as I am reading tribe.net posts and I've not heard it for a while and the words just resinated with me so strongly I had to share it - BTW if anyone is into Atmospheric Doom Metal Anathema is pretty good - once they grew out of there Death Metal stage - now their more experimental then ever]

Occasionally when I step outside to smoke on my fire escape I am greeted by Mourning Dove. She just sites there and looks at me inviting me to sit with her. So I sit at a respectable distance (though she lets me get closer each time) and watch her watching me. I’ve been learning about Mourning Dove and I discovered when she is siting there she is probably digesting.

This is my life place. It is a semi-arid grassland that is a part of the Cascadia rain shadow. It consists of a high plateau of rolling farmland and surrounding valleys. The Nez Pierce, Palouse, Walla Walla and other tribes are the native peoples of grasslands and surrounding areas. 99% of the natural habituate has been destroyed by agriculture. The Giant Palouse Earthworm is rare worm species that calls these grasslands home.
