You wouldn't know it to see me, but I am 45. Long red hair, naturally turquoise eyes, 5'4", weight is proportional, but larger than I used to be (Thyroid), 'Polar, I LOVE the woods, hiking, camping.
Spiritually, I am individual who relates to a tree as representing a higher deity than a building full of people being good on Sunday! I accept prophets from many religions were good and true.

Been active in SCA, but looking for alternatives.
I am active in many craft activities, study history, cook (largest was a formal meal for 200 of 40 dishes).

I've put in a request for a scholarship to a kick*ss event in June. It's called "
Catskill Mountain Women's World Drum & Percussion Happen'n 2006"
Four days in the mountains, only women.

As Always is my little business's name. I've been busy working on my business plan for Spring/Summer sales of crafts and custom orders for tribal gear. In fact I got 3 sale orders from last Saturday's Gothique Raqs for bodice/waist cinchers!
I've been in bed since the weekend with another flu that just hit like walking into a wall suddenly Sunday evening. I am glad it held off until after the bead show!! I spent almost all ( like 95%) of my money at the first vendor.They also had netsuke figures, one was a perfect little prick, not sure what jewelry you make with that!!
And I've gotten a great friend to do things with. It's nice to cuddle and be close. I've missed that. Hopefully my health won't screw it up - or some banshee manic episode...
And I have several dance performances scheduled. The Mahira Hafla, the Smithville NJ BellyJam and the Jubili Bead Store Grand RE-Opening.

I have spent the week nursing my Mother through the flu and shingles, doing my spring business plan, taxes, and and new biggie - DATING!!
Yep I am actually interacting with the male species!
I hope to bring hime to Ulana's, so be gentle with him, he hasn't seen any tribal dance yet (mwha-ha-ha)!!
Of course, he'll get the flu like everyone else and not come, but I WILL BE THERE!
I'll miss you Zan, but hope we can catch up in NYC sometime! Philyy and Jersey girls, let's have fun!!

I saw a product in the store to day that proudly stated that it would make your hair thicker and fuller. Then right below it was the disclaimer saying it would not make your hair thicker and fuller. Not even an inch apart!! I guess it evens out and does nothing!!
I'm still selling tribal hair accents at a rate of a couple a month and I'm receiving more orders for my Extreme Tribal Belt (Leather, fur, feathers, oxidized copper, etc)
I'm enjoying work on a custom design sketch this week.
Working on some great stuff for the craft shows, too.
I didn't get to dance much the past month or so, except practices at home with Kajira's and Caroline's tapes.
I hope I didn't build a wrong muscle memory!
I've 2 haflas/belly jams, plus support friends in a Raqs Gothique show at a club in Philly.
Plus I get to help my sister with setup for her shop's display at the Phila. Floral Show. Last year her theme was the Revolutionary Household. Beautiful with this really great stone cutaway cabin and walkways. I got to shove moss in the cracks between the stones. And she borrowed a lot of items from my SCA gear. It worked. She won first place in historical accuracy. This year will be more light-hearted - Spring and Mother Nature.
Add a really huge cluster attack, days on days, finally ended and then I ended up in the Hospital for Dehydration and Infection. However, my Neurologist reads the test results as possible liver damage from the meds. - great. I love side effects that are worse that the cause!
I do say Thank the Goddess and All that be for the new Prescription Plan. I'm almost to the 'gap' (something like $2000 period where they don't pay towards anything). I was glad I found a plan that just ignores it and goes as usual. Costs me more wach month but a lot less than my medicines cost!!

I received and order from a beautiful looking group for dread Accent pieces, luckily it's a small group so I can do them in time!
Color schemes is Fuschia maribou on black and violet 'dread' pieces hanging below the shoulder. I'll post a pictures when I have one finished... Bethany
