Ego Boosters

July 1, 2009
2 years later, and all still true. I am grateful to you Flint for all that you contribute to my life and growth. You are an amazing man, and I hold you in my heart.

With immeasureable gratitude, I adore you. You have allowed me to be ALL that I am in every situation. You have never faulted me nor made me wrong. You have encouraged, supported, and nurtured...whether intentional or not, you have been a true champion. For your presence, and more importantly, for your friendship, I thank you.

An excellent listener, a great lunch time companion, and a sweet guy, Flint is one of the steady people who has helped me so much. He lends books, and lets me vent, and celebrates the baby steps towards success. And DAMN can he read erotic poetry. Yay for Flint Friend. :-)

What I've Seen

Liquid Soup

There is something sensuous about this packet of liquid soup. Perhaps it's the gold lettering or the simplicity of the packaging. What ever it is, it was a good bowl of udon noodles.

Sinner & Saints

The world around us is filled with many things that we can not observe. People have their personal thoughts, unknown activities happen behind closed doors, contents of boxes remain undiscovered. The author Douglas Adams once wrote about this: SEPs, otherwise known as "someone else's problems." You can't observe them directly; you really need to take a different approach to see what surrounds us.

This woodblock print explores the hidden and what it may look like.

Polished Brass Casings

If I had a jewelry making bench, these wouldn't be such a pain in the butt to make.

Memory Bracelet

There's this beach just North of Santa Cruz that has plenty of pleasant memories for me. A couple of years ago it closed and the pleasant memories remained.

Recently I returned to that beach and gathered some sand; now I have my memories of the beach physically with me.

Re: Need "Taken" sign on forehead? (in Polyamory) Politely declining like you did is acceptable. No need to go into particulars if pressed for more information on why you declined.

Re: Relationship Chart v.2 (in Polyamory) What you present is something beyond a scope of a chart and is more about social relations and their issues/problems. I understand what you are saying, but this is a chart based solely around defined romantic relationships.

Re: Relationship Chart v.2 (in Polyamory) I've given that some thought previously, and you still essentially have monogamous relationships. Deuterogamy and Serial Monogamy are still monogamy, as in only one partner at a time. The three (and it may seem redundant to have monogamy listed un... read more
