What little I say.

Yesterday I accepted a new posistion as director of operations at Innerscope technologies. The company is based in Boston, is a very early stage startup, and currently has more customers then they know what to do with. They use bio feedback to gauge human responses/engagements to media (print, linear, and interactive).

Three months ago, I was a week or so away from foreclosing on my 3 family house, no renters in site, no job prospects, and a ton of responsibilies/time commitments none ... read more

For folks who haven't seen this yet, the man caught fire Monday night. There are quite a few sources coming out with this, so it isn't a hoax. Here is a link with some pics.

Interesting comments are floating around as to if this will make a major community focal point, or be the call for all hell to break loose out there.

My playa visit this year reminded me of two things out there; surround yourself with those that can help you on your journey, and don't get stuck on what you think is the questions you need answering. This holiday season found me discussing some great concepts with two amazing people here in NC (my college roommate Brandt, and the wonderful Caroleeena). The center stage of the discussions was Gratitude. Caroleena and I were discussing how easy it is to get caught up in wanting more, being ... read more

Re: Class sign up time! (in WildFire) Only applications to teach that come through the wildfire website will be considered. We are offering something like 60+ classes, so the website applications is a must do from our end. So don't email Joanna or me, don't post here, these things w... read more

Re: Chad, change the main WF link? (in WildFire) The teaching schedule is in no way set at this point as well. So things that are at a certian time, may not even be on the schedule in a week, not to mention moved around depending on load balancing and what people apply to teach.

Re: Class sign up time! (in WildFire) To sign up for a class, go to the website under classes, and click on the "teach" button. That will bring up a simple form to put your info in. Know that if you are assigned a class to teach, your bio and pic will instantly appear when people cl... read more

I have known Chad for a long time. It is strange how in the years we have watched each other change and grow into the mutated interesting people that i love. Having Chad in my life has been a constant in a sometimes chaotic life, and that makes me happy.

When I visit Chad's page on Tribe it says: "You are friends with Chad Bennett", and that makes me feel warm and fuzzy, and extremely fortunate.

I consider myself lucky to know Chad. There's aren't many people out there I can say that for. One of Chad's most wonderful traits is that he is truly GENUINE. He has taught me everything about poi, and it has changed my life. He is a one-of-a-kind man, and I'm glad to know him. I moved to Boston from Houston a while back, and it wasn't until knowing Chad and others through the BU poi class that I really started to know my new Boston identity. Thank you Chad. You're the greatest.

When I was a baby I had a few near death experiences...I stopped breathing a few times and back then my father was sensetive enough to get the feeling he should wake up. He would try franticly to revive me but nothing worked untill he splashed cold water on my face. Looking back I viewed it as myself in babyhood trying to take the easiest way out I could. Maybe I knew growing up in this world wasn't going to be easy for me.....who knows. Well it wasn't anyway.... is growing up easy for anyone though? Yes.... this is going somewhere... Last week I had my first Poi class with Chad. For months I was tring to learn the weave and it just wasn't happening. With some help from Chad and a couple of other kind hearted individuals in the class I had picked it up by the end of the class. As Chad was trying to teach me the trick I had been having such a hard time with something he said struck me... It wasn't anything elaborate, not complicated....two words he spoke over and over again....
"Just Breath" .....he said "just breath" in my mind part of me thought, "how is this going to help?!" "he thinks he knows everything and he doesn't", "why is breathing so important anyway?" Why is breathing so important anyway. Each day every minute we are alive we breathe. When we concentrate on breathe we are making a concious decision to live. To be alive. To live. To breathe is to dance to sing....to do Poi....to love...... to laugh....to Live. Thank you Chad for reminding us to live and not to be afraid to try.
*Blessings*
