What little I say.

Today I discovered PEX tubing for plumping. It is amazing and I love it.

Today my grandfather died. And while he wasn't a part of my life for the past 10 or more years, his passing has been tough on my mother. This has also been a reminder to me of how short our time here is; how important the people we love and who love us are; and that I want great, stupid, crazy, loving stories told about me one day. The way I will judge my life, is by these.

Today my ex showed me how much she ha... read more

One of your ads on tribe shows a guy in fur covered gear, holding a short used fire staff. The staff is not currently burning, but the ad makes it appear that your gear is great to wear for fire performances. THIS IS EXTREEMLY DANGEROUS, and should be removed from a moral and liable stand point. Clothes like this individual is wearing would catch fire VERY easily, and literally melt to the person’s skin. Please be more responsible with your advertising and remove this and any other ads th... read more

Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be in North Carolina until next weekend. Some family emergencies came up and a quick trip needed to be taken. Thank you for all the support and love you have showed me these past few weeks. It did go from bad to really bad, but it could certianly be worse. And the funniest thing is to realize that when you really hit an amazingly low point, and then you come up just a few steps from that, life seems pretty damn good. It truely is a matter of p... read more

Yesterday I accepted a new posistion as director of operations at Innerscope technologies. The company is based in Boston, is a very early stage startup, and currently has more customers then they know what to do with. They use bio feedback to gauge human responses/engagements to media (print, linear, and interactive).

Three months ago, I was a week or so away from foreclosing on my 3 family house, no renters in site, no job prospects, and a ton of responsibilies/time commitments none ... read more

Re: Next Year's Dates (in WildFire) Not many organizers go to burning man. There are no dates currently available from the site any earlier in Sept. Burners are not getting any special consideration in this way.

Spring has one opening in early May and then Solstice in June. Pe... read more

Re: Next Year's Dates (in WildFire) Jade is right. I am still asking if any of the site's other events cancel that we have earlier weekends (they are boyscout state events), but as of now there isn't any earlier option. Also, the weekend before this last WF was non-stop rain, and ... read more

Next Year's Dates (in WildFire) Hello everyone. Much talking with site later, we have pretty much confirmed the dates for next year's WildFire events. So unless anyone knows of some huge holiday or other major spinning arts events that happens on these same weekends, this is w... read more

Dmitri's Staff (in BU Spin Jam) Will the lovely individual who has Dmitri's staff, please contact Dmitri (I can't remember who got it from me). You got it from me about 2 weeks ago to give to him, but haven't been able to yet. He is now asking me for it. He is on this tribe an... read more

Re: aluminum tubing (in Global Contact Staff Community) mmm... I think the price on Flamma's site is by the foot. So 8' would be ~ $16, plus shipping. I have searched for different supplies, but have found the best prices by buying in bulk from local hardware store.

My Testimonials

I have known Chad for a long time. It is strange how in the years we have watched each other change and grow into the mutated interesting people that i love. Having Chad in my life has been a constant in a sometimes chaotic life, and that makes me happy.

When I visit Chad's page on Tribe it says: "You are friends with Chad Bennett", and that makes me feel warm and fuzzy, and extremely fortunate.

I consider myself lucky to know Chad. There's aren't many people out there I can say that for. One of Chad's most wonderful traits is that he is truly GENUINE. He has taught me everything about poi, and it has changed my life. He is a one-of-a-kind man, and I'm glad to know him. I moved to Boston from Houston a while back, and it wasn't until knowing Chad and others through the BU poi class that I really started to know my new Boston identity. Thank you Chad. You're the greatest.

When I was a baby I had a few near death experiences...I stopped breathing a few times and back then my father was sensetive enough to get the feeling he should wake up. He would try franticly to revive me but nothing worked untill he splashed cold water on my face. Looking back I viewed it as myself in babyhood trying to take the easiest way out I could. Maybe I knew growing up in this world wasn't going to be easy for me.....who knows. Well it wasn't anyway.... is growing up easy for anyone though? Yes.... this is going somewhere... Last week I had my first Poi class with Chad. For months I was tring to learn the weave and it just wasn't happening. With some help from Chad and a couple of other kind hearted individuals in the class I had picked it up by the end of the class. As Chad was trying to teach me the trick I had been having such a hard time with something he said struck me... It wasn't anything elaborate, not complicated....two words he spoke over and over again....
"Just Breath" .....he said "just breath" in my mind part of me thought, "how is this going to help?!" "he thinks he knows everything and he doesn't", "why is breathing so important anyway?" Why is breathing so important anyway. Each day every minute we are alive we breathe. When we concentrate on breathe we are making a concious decision to live. To be alive. To live. To breathe is to dance to sing....to do Poi....to love...... to laugh....to Live. Thank you Chad for reminding us to live and not to be afraid to try.
*Blessings*
