The Israelis Blew Up My Computer
I shit you not. Heres the story:
I was working with a Palestinian peace group. Because of this I was arrested and thrown in jail in Israel for a week. Then they deported me. I made my way to the Sinai Peninsula to meet my friend who I was living with in the Occupied West Bank. She was bringing me my belongings, including my computer, books, clothes, tea, circus equipment, etc. So, because they know my friend, who, even though she herself was Israeli, was coming to meet me with my things, they literally blew my stuff up with explosives. They said it was a security risk. Really, they just wanted to add insult to injury. They also blew up my friend's ipod and original artwork.
So, I borrowed money to buy a new computer so I can get back to work, focusing on human rights.
