about me
I am a very laid back and non-conforming type of guy who loves excitement, and thrills.
Jumping out of planes or swimming with sharks would be my idea of a good time. Extreme sports and maximum risks are what makes life interesting. I never take life too seriously because life is too short not to be enjoyed to the fullest. Hence, I am a huge fan of Tom Leykis and "The Rules". I consider myself to be a little nerdy, geekish with a wacky, sarcastic evil sense of humor. I never let things get me down and as far as I'm concerned there is no problem than cannot be solved. I am always optimistic, adventureous witha sunny disposition. I guess many people would consider me unconventional. Whether in work, play or life each day is a new day with new challenges and fun. My friends are very important to me and there's nothing I wouldn't do to help them out. I'm also one of those who keeps their friends very near but keep enemies nearer. A friend recent dug this
up about my zodiac sign. I was skeptical at first but it does sound very much like me.

There isn't that many places in the world where the entire water front is covered with Christmas lights like the ones u are seeing.
The companies dish out hundreds of thousands each year to do X'mas light decors than can be seen across the harbor and usually
it's a competition between the Island side and the mainland side. The light decor display can been seen all the way thru till the end
of January, then the decor will come down and they'll start prepping for Easter.

So a few friends, my mom, sister and fiance went off into ShenZhen China for a quick round about shopping and sightseeing trip which started at 8:30AM. The full body massage was a real eye opener for Robert, my sister's fiancé and it was so utterly relaxing that it blew us all away. The rest of the day was just window shopping in Dongmen main street, afternoon tea and we eventually ended up in Guo Mu for the main reason... to have dinner. We all went to a Japanese restaurant called Kamii and ...

Decided I'd have lunch at Stanley Beach and caught the 2 ships in the background. The very new container and the junk which will not relinquish the past. Hong Kong is full of pictures like this only thing that is lack at this place, is people don't give a damn about anything cultural nor do they care. HK is a very commercial and industrialized place and on average there's no room for cultural matters or anything that has deep cultural references. A real shame if you ask me.

Sorry guys we didn't go to the extremes but it's was a very nice combo of seafood stuff. (None for Deena tho' sorry) but we had quite a few plates packed with the amount of food we put away which wasn't too bad for $360 and 5 people. Of course there was desert afterwards, but who's counting. The last 2 pics you seeare also a lot of foreigners who wants to experience the feeling of eating on a middle of a street that the traffic stops at 6:30PM and the variety of food could be almost anything ...

Nowhere on the face of the planet does anyone or anybody refaces or paints a high rise the Hong Kong construction workers do it. The entire outter wall scaffolding is put together using bamboo poles. It may be 10 stories or 150 stories, it makes no difference. Long 30' poles of bamboo are tied together using 48" nylon straws but the whole structure can hold 2-3 tons at any one joint.
When the entire building is completely wrapped with the bamboo scaffolding, nothing short of a hurricane...

I kinda wondered how would it take to get over the fact I miss my poor puppy Majikmaxi. I had him since he was 7 weeks old and it was I who put him down after three years because Binkerman my other dog broke Maxi's back by accident while playing. In a blink of an eye, Majikmaxi went from a bouncing dog to one that couldn't move his rear legs and the cost for the bill was just staggering. Forget the bill, since that's not the issue.
I still have his tags, flowers he loved to bite, his ashes, ...
