</a>
<div>(This one makes me miss my mama soooooooooooooooooo much!!)

Since you've been away
I've been down and lonely
Since you've been away
I've been thinking of you
Trying to understand
The reason you left me
What were you going through?

I'm missing you
Tell me why the road turns
Ooh ooh ooh
I'm missing you
Tell me why the road turns

As I look around
I see things that remind me
Just to see you smile
Made my heart fill with joy
I'll still recall
All those dreams we shared together
Where did you run to, boy?

I'm missing you
Tell me why the road turns
Ooh ooh ooh
I'm missing you
Tell me why the road turns

Sometimes I've wondered
I didn't understand
Just where you were trying to go
Only you knew the plan
And I tried to be there
But you wouldn't let me in

But now you've gone away boy
I feel so broken hearted
I knew the day we started
That we were meant to be
If only you'd let me!
I've cried so many tears
Gotta face now all my fears
We let time slip away
I need you boy
Here today!

There was so much you gave me
To my heart
To my soul
There was so much of your dreams
That were never told
You had so much hope
For a brighter day
Why were you my flower
Plucked away

I'm missing you
Tell me why the road turns
Ooh oohooh
I'm missing you
Tell me why the road turns</div>

My Soul is a Battleground By Dawn D. Grandier

    </a>
<div>My heart and my mind are in a constant battle for my soul,
they seem to be trying to rip me in two
My mind has me running figure eights
through all the millions of things that I simply have to do
But my heart seems to dominate at times,
it takes over my soul and makes me daydream of you
I, far too often now a days, find myself lingering
down lanes of thoughts and emotions that just won't do
So, I pull myself together and get meself back into gear,
overwhelmed with the feeling of melancholy blue
My eye on the path before me,
my mind running circles around me,
and my heart simply longing for you

    </a>
<div>See the curtains hanging in the window
In the evening on a Friday night
A little light a-shining through the window
Lets me know everythings alright

CHORUS:
Summer breeze makes me feel fine
Blowing through the jasmine in my mind
Summer breeze makes me feel fine
Blowing through the jasmine in my mind

See the paper lying on the sidewalk
A little music from the house next door
So I walk on up to the door step
Through the screen and across the floor

Repeat chorus

Sweet days of summer, the jasmine's in bloom
July is dressed up and playing her tune
When I come home from a hard days work
And you're waiting there, not a care in the world

See the smile a-waiting in the kitchen
Food cooking and the plates for two
Feel the arms that reach out to hold me
In the evening when the day is through</div>

    </a>
										<div>as of late...
Iv'e been keepin' myself to busy to think about things that bring me down
things that make me blue
things that make me fess up to how it really feels
down in the depths of my soul
I'm keepin' a happy face on for all the world to see
I just keep puttin' one foot in front of the other
moseying down this long, winding road
confused and conflicted
but hopeful and dreamy at times
doin' what's expected
doin' what's needed
doin' what I should
for all those involved
smiling on the outside
but surviving a storm within
doin' what I can to hide it all
and just keep moving on down that road
the one that's already chosen
the one that "is meant to be"
the one that seems to make the most sense
and thus I trudge on
and cloak all those things inside that haunt and taunt me
the past
the future
the questions
the disbelief
the regret
the lack of faith
the hopefulness
the insecurity
the vanity
the lonely feeling
the sorrow
the contempt
the frustration
...
it all gets pushed further and further down

Phoebe Snow ~ Isn't It A Shame ~ Lyrics

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/freyaphrodite/blog/d1789dba-fae2-4cb1-89b8-ab45791cb5db"> <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/023/edc/023edca2-1658-49da-87dc-33e189dbbe90.thumb" width="50" height="78" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div> Artist: Phoebe Snow
Title: Isn'T It A Shame
Album: Second Childhood
Year: 1976
Isn't it a shame
Not to have something to believe in
To have to cry in public places
Frightened by children making faces
Travel folders call you
So do your memories
But the statistics seem to stall you
And they whiper it's a t...
The moon has coated me with dust
I must look a sight
I left my mind out in the rain
So please don't be polite
Can you help me
Can you help me...later on tonight
Can you help me
Can you help me
At least until it's light

Tonight I won't be drinking
I'll love you anyway (AAA)
I will be very busy thinking
I can still come out and play
It's more than medication
It is all that's on the shelf
The simple fact that I'm alive and well
And I'm laughing at myself
My casual friends were causualties
My foes were just faux pas
but I still have that second chance
And I'm listening for applause

(Guitar solo)

Look at us poor souls down here
Tryin' to turn an honest trick
Every second seasons seems we think
We're tired or sick
Can you help us, can you help us
Something's got to click
Can you help me, can you help me
To sing another lick....</div>

So now our happy romance ended suddenly
Still in my heart youll be forever mine
No regrets
Because somebody new looks good to you

like a lost child will you find your back to the living man? Or is this the end?-
the time is right to hurt to help-don’t wear it like a coat of shame-
pick me up I’ve fallen apart-
I tear away at the seams-
this one life you take in vein-
with this soul-
this should you gave to a lovers life you could not save-
the time is right to hurt to help-
don’t wear it like a coat of shame-
pick me up I’ve fallen apart-
I tear away at the seams-
you better watch yourself now-
you just cant tell-
the thing that’s stopping you-
just might be yourself-
and if you close your eyes it might just go away-
and if you close your mind it might just stay that way-
the time is right to hurt to help-
don’t wear it like a coat of shame-
pick me up I’ve fallen apart-
I tear away at the seems-
I’m hollow </div>

Lithium lyrics

<div>

Lithium, don't want to lock me up inside.
Lithium, don't want to forget how it feels without...
Lithium, I want to stay in love with my sorrow.
Oh, but God, I want to let it go.

Come to bed, don't make me sleep alone.
Couldn't hide the emptiness, you let it show.
Never wanted it to be so cold.
Just didn't drink enough to say you love me.

I can't hold on to me,
Wonder what's wrong with me.

Lithium, don't want to lock me up inside.
Lithium, don't want to forget how it feels without...
Lithium, I want to stay in love with my sorrow.

I don't want to let it lay me down this time.
Drown my will to fly.
Here in the darkness I know myself.
Can't break free until I let it go.
Let me go.

Darling, I forgive you after all.
Anything is better than to be alone.
And in the end I guess I had to fall.
Always find my place among the ashes.

I can't hold on to me,
Wonder what's wrong with me.

Lithium, don't want to lock me up inside.
Lithium, don't want to forget how it feels without...
Lithium, ...stay in love with you.
I'm gonna let it go. </div>

sweetest thing

<div>The sweetest thing I've ever known
Was like the kiss on the collarbone
The soft caress of happiness
The way you walk, your style of dress
I wish I didn't get so weak
Ooo, baby, just to hear you speak
Makes me argue just to see
How much you're in love with me
See, like a queen, a queen upon her throne

Chorus:
It was the sweet, sweetest thing I’ve known,
It was the sweet, sweetest thing I’ve known

I get mad when you walk away
So I tell you leave, when I mean stay
Warm as the sun dipped in black
Fingertips on the small of my back
More valuable than all I own
Like your precious, precious, precious, precious baby, dark skin tone

It was the sweet, the sweetest thing I’ve known

It was the...Ah
I try to explain
Ah...but baby, it's in vain

Speaking on my mother's phone
The touch that makes me think I'm grown
Sweet prince of the ghetto
Your kisses taste like amaretto
Intoxicating, oh, so intoxicating
How sad, how sad that all things come to an end
But then again, I'm, I'm not alone

Chorus

Ah...Sometimes watch you in your sleep
Ah... Excuse me if I get too deep, hey!
Fading Chorus

    </a>
<div>I've been so many places in my life and time
I've sung a lot of songs I've made some bad rhyme
I've acted out my love in stages
With ten thousand people watching
But we're alone now and I'm singing this song for you

I know your image of me is what I hope to be
I've treated you unkindly but darlin' can't you see
There's no one more important to me
Darlin' can't you please see through me
Cause we're alone now and I'm singing this song for you

You taught me precious secrets of the truth witholding nothing
You came out in front and I was hiding
But now I'm so much better and if my words don't come together
Listen to the melody cause my love is in there hiding

I love you in a place where there's no space or time
I love you for in my life you are a friend of mine
And when my life is over
Remember when we were together
We were alone and I was singing this song for you

You taught me precious secrets of the truth witholding nothing
You came out in front and I was hiding
But now I'm so much better and if my words don't come together
Listen to the melody cause my love is in there hiding

I love you in a place where there's no space or time
I love you for in my life you are a friend of mine
And when my life is over

Erikah Badu	~ A Child with the Blues Lyrics

    </a>
<div>Could have never known that when losin'
Could hurt you so very bad
Could have never known that when chosin'
Would make you so very sad

I don't know what to do
I just feel so confused
I'm a child with the blues

Take your time, smell the flowers
Make a smile for yourself
Girl, don't make livin' so hard,
So hard, So hard, I keep tellin' myself

Feels like I'm goin' away
Sometimes it ain't all damn fair
A child with the blues

Sisters, sisters
I know you're watchin' me
There are a lot of games reachin' for you
Constantly

When you think you're grown
You're entering the unknown
Baby, check yourself
Brace yourself
Protect yourself
Face yourself

Feels like my life is just existing
And I'm missing someone

It's hard to replace the simple fact
'cause my lover is gone, gone on

Never too young to pay your dues,
And you're walkin' in my shoes
You're a child with the blues, so blue, so blue

I can't stop the flow, can't stop it
Of the tears in my eyes

And if you're any of the many kind of women in pain,
Woman in pain, realize, realize

The same emotion we share
Movin' fast but goin' nowhere

Like a child with the blues
A child with the blues
Baby, blue
This child is blue
Show no blues

A child with the blues, ooh

Blue... </div>

										<div>I’m my own worst enemy
I set myself up to fall
And falling I am
And I have knots in my throat
And the tears sting my eyes
As they well up and fill my cheeks
My stomach feels hollow and
And my heart feels blue
From lack of oxygen
I’ve been holding my breath
Closing my eyes
Waiting to land
But it seems I’m free falling
And the spark that set my heart on fire
Was nothing but a passing fancy
And my wings are wet
They don’t hold my weight
I’m just careening
Waiting for the end.

"Lonesome Blues"

Some blues are just blues, mine are the lonesome blues
Some blues are just blues, mine are the lonesome blues
All the birds flew south for the winter
Left me these lonesome blues

My baby left me, hitched a train down south
My baby left me, hitched a train down south
I still taste his kisses
Like candy in my mouth.

I wish I had wings, just like an aeroplane
I wish I had wings, just like an aeroplane
Fly down, find my baby. never be lonesome again.

"Midnight Moonlight"

if you ever get lonesome
and you're down in san antone
just beg, steal or borrow
two nickels or a dime
and call me on the phone

i'll meet you at the alamo mission
and we will say our prayers
the holy ghost and the virgin mother
will heal us, as we kneel there

in the midnight moonlight
midnight moonlight, moonlight
in the midnight, moonlight, in the mid-
night
moonlight midnight

if you ever feel sorrow
for deeds that you have done
with no hope for tomorrow
in the setting of the sun
and the oceans are howlin'
for things that might have been
and the last good morning sunrise will be
the brightest you've ever seen

<div>PETA Urges Ben &amp; Jerry's To Use Human Milk
Group Says Move Would Help Humans, Cows

WATERBURY, Vt. -- People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals sent a letter to Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, cofounders of Ben &amp; Jerry's Homemade Inc., urging them to replace cow's milk they use in their ice cream products with human breast milk, according to a statement recently released by a PETA spokeswoman.

"PETA's request comes in the wake of news reports that a Swiss restaurant owner will begin purchasing breast milk from nursing mothers and substituting breast milk for 75 percent of the cow's milk in the food he serves," the statement says.

PETA officials say a move to human breast milk would lessen the suffering of dairy cows and their babies on factory farms and benefit human health.

Do you think Ben and Jerry's should use human milk in its ice cream?
Yes

"The fact that human adults consume huge quantities of dairy products made from milk that was meant for a baby cow just doesn't make sense," says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. "Everyone knows that 'the breast is best,' so Ben &amp; Jerry's could do consumers and cows a big favor by making the switch to breast milk."

"We applaud PETA's novel approach to bringing attention to an issue, but we believe a mother's milk is best used for her child," said a spokesperson for Ben and Jerry's.

Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, Cofounders

Ben &amp; Jerry's Homemade Inc.

Dear Mr. Cohen and Mr. Greenfield,

On behalf of PETA and our more than 2 million members and supporters, I'd like to bring your attention to an innovative new idea from Switzerland that would bring a unique twist to Ben and Jerry's.

Storchen restaurant is set to unveil a menu that includes soups, stews, and sauces made with at least 75 percent breast milk procured from human donors who are paid in exchange for their milk. If Ben and Jerry's replaced the cow's milk in its ice cream with breast milk, your customers-and cows-would reap the benefits.

Using cow's milk for your ice cream is a hazard to your customer's health. Dairy products have been linked to juvenile diabetes, allergies, constipation, obesity, and prostate and ovarian cancer. The late Dr. Benjamin Spock, America's leading authority on child care, spoke out against feeding cow's milk to children, saying it may play a role in anemia, allergies, and juvenile diabetes and in the long term, will set kids up for obesity and heart disease-America's number one cause of death.

Animals will also benefit from the switch to breast milk. Like all mammals, cows only produce milk during and after pregnancy, so to be able to constantly milk them, cows are forcefully impregnated every nine months. After several years of living in filthy conditions and being forced to produce 10 times more milk than they would naturally, their exhausted bodies are turned into hamburgers or ground up for soup.

And of course, the veal industry could not survive without the dairy industry. Because male calves can't produce milk, dairy farmers take them from their mothers immediately after birth and sell them to veal farms, where they endure 14 to17 weeks of torment chained inside a crate so small that they can't even turn around.

The breast is best! Won't you give cows and their babies a break and our health a boost by switching from cow's milk to breast milk in Ben and Jerry's ice cream? Thank you for your consideration.

										<div>I wish I was a willow
And I could sway to the music in the wind
And I wish I was a lover
I wouldn't need my costumes and pretend
I wish I was a mountain
I'd pass boldly thrue the
clouds and never end
I wish I was a soft refrain
When the lights were out I'd play
and be your friend
I strut and fret my hour upon the stage
The hour is up
I have to run and hide my rage
I'm lost again
I think I'm really scared
I won't be back at all this time
And have my deepest secrets shared
I'd like to be a willow
A lover, a mountain or a soft refrain
But I'd hate to be a grown-up
And have to try to bear my life in pain
I wish I was a soft refrain
When the lights were out I'd play
and be your friend
I strut and fret my hour upon the stage
The hour is up

<div>Like a long lonely stream
I keep runnin' towardas a dream
Movin' on, movin' on
Like a branch on a tree
I keep reachin' to be free
Movin' on, movin' on.

'Cause there's a place in the sun
Where there's hope for ev'ryone
Where my poor restless heart's gotta run.
There's a place in the sun
And before my life is done
Got to find me a place in the sun.

Like an old dusty road
I get weary from the load.
Movin' on, movin' on
Like this tired troubled earth
I've been rollin' since my birth
Movin' on, movin' on

'Cause there's a place in the sun
Where there's hope for ev'ryone
Where my poor restless heart's gotta run.
There's a place in the sun
And before my life is done
Got to find me a place in the sun. </div>

my dreams as of late...

<div>As of late, the dreams I've been "experiencing" are becoming more vivid, more memorable, more realistic (in some cases) than anything I have experienced before, and other dreams are so amazingly surreal that it reminds me of paintings I've seen on the walls of museums and on the pages of books that line the walls where I work just layer upon layer of bright yummy colors, melting into each other. Some of my dreams I can smell and feel... this is not too new... it's been so long since I have dreamt like this... and although at times it is more than enjoyable... it can be quite lonely to wake from... even with someone lying next to me.... lonely indeed. Especially when the dreams hold so much more passion, liveliness, joy, a sense of peace, and at times ecstasy filled pleasure for me to experience… more, often, than my waking hours hold (for the most part anyway). But alas, dreams are simply movies in our mind run by the real to real of our soul… and though there may be elements of these dreams that hold a jewel of truth… they all quickly fade once my eyes are open… but still lingering in my gut, my heart, my soul, and my wishes are elements of these dreams that I wish to be true… however absurd or unfitting…</div>

Bill Withers.... Aint No Sunshine

<div>Ain't no sunshine when she's gone.
It's not warm when she's away.
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
and she's always gone too long
anytime she goes away.

Wonder this time where she's gone,
wonder if she's gone to stay
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
and this house just ain't no home
anytime she goes away.

And I know, I know, I know, I know, I know,
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know,
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know,
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know, I know,
I know, I know, I know

Hey, I ought to leave the young thing alone,
but ain't no sunshine when she's gone,
ain't no sunshine when she's gone,
only darkness everyday.
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone,
and this house just ain't no home
anytime she goes away.
Anytime she goes away.
Anytime she goes away.
Anytime she goes away.
Anytime she goes away.</div>
