Hello everyone,

April is another busy and exciting month for me, taking me to LA for several performances. It will be my first time dancing in LA since I moved away in 2004. This month marks the beginning of my collaboration with the beautiful and talented Jennifer Faust . We have put together a delicious piece that we will debut at the Ansuya show in San Francisco and there will be a repeat performance the following week in LA. If you haven’t seen this amazing girl perform yet, I highly recommend you check her out. I am also very honored that the fabulous Sharon Kihara has asked me to assist her workshops at Tribal Caravan the same weekend. At the end of the month I will teach my first yoga/dance fusion workshop at 7th heaven in Berkeley entitled “The Yoga of Dancing the Divine”. This workshop will be one part of a wonderful monthly event called Elysium. For more info please see www.7thheavenyoga.com . You can also see me at the return of Triple Power in late April, a regular SF event put on by an amazing crew of collaborators. In May you will find me back in LA for a performance at the Ansuya show, then back home for performances at Tribal fest and a very special Electric Vardo production, called “Vuelva Al Sur” Flamenco fusion. And speaking of flamenco, In June I will be headed to Spain for workshops and performances in Madrid and Barcelona. I’m especially excited about this for the obvious reason that it takes place in Spain, but also because this is where my Mom started her dance career and I will be dancing in the same cities where she performed as a young Flamenco dancer.
