so after getting robbed last week, I followed up with the inspector and they actually have a couple guys in custody - will I finger him in open court? umm - lemme me rephrase that: will I *identify* him in open court? I guess - but today, after getting my summons last month, I go to see if I get picked for jury duty, yayyy! I really don't like court, and really try to stay the hell out of it as much as possible - I've been going down my list of insurance against being selected: I'm a schizophrenic, a white supremacist, the UnaBomber is my personal hero, my rreligion states that everyone is born guilty (original sin), or, my religion says everything is permissible (part time Satanist), how can I be impartial if I can't take my glock into court ... etceetc
But the real #1 issue: Cal Only:
RENT CONTROL, i.e. NO on 98 - Rock that Vote! I mean all you artists, fag hags *and* hag fags, queens, Valesbians, San Fransickos *and* San Francisc-hoes, and everyone else who might get royally screwed here, get out and just say no to that shit
not all cities in Cali have this, but many do, and we stand to lose it, once again (they go after rent control about once every 8 years)

sort of - being 'self-employed' it was easy to get excused from jury duty on $$$ hardship - sheeit - the trial is supposed to run into mid-June - egads, no!

oh yeah and
one potential juror was excused, being a Jehova's Witness (she said "Because I am Jehovah's witness") and therefore getting involved in a civic dispute was against her beliefs ... interesting ... this calls for research - probably won't find anything as fun as the Mormon sex-jumpers, but I'm sure I'll find something crazy...
