It is almost funny, sometimes, how the ideas of seemingly disparate disciplines feed each other and intertwine like adjacent plant life. it's been that sort of week.

There are many things to occupy a dreamer's time these days. It seems as though projects multiply and spin each other out into mad trajectories if not properly tended. This is good news for me, as I am in need of the electrochemical bolus generated by the creative act. Nowhere has this charge been more acutely felt than in a class I'm taking at mass college of art called Nature, Science and Art.

Sometimes, tragedy is like a knot of horror and pain coated with a novocaine candy shell.

Hard to swallow.

I'm emerging from a dark place, the second of my twin towers freshly fallen, into a stark but strange world that sometimes bucks, but often winks in sympathy and shared jokes.

I'm strapping on the old rocket pack, hoping that it still fits and works. I'm still a bit gun shy, but I'm flinching through it.
