First, update on Mom. Had a great visit with her on Thursday, her birthday. For a lady who's just had an emotionally and physically grueling major surgery, she was positively radiant. In addition to a lovely pair of sterling silver and freshwater pearl earrings I made with my own li'l paws, I was happy to fill her special request: Mom was craving a triple-scoop Vienna Mocha Chunk hot fudge sundae from Friendly's. I hope she savored every decadent bite. BTW, the docs believe they removed all the cancer, so NO chemo- Yippee!!! She goes in for her post-op on Monday. Thanks for everyone's positive energies, prayers and support. You were all a huge part of this miracle, believe it! {{{hugs}}}

Second... By the Grace of my HPs I was given a rare gift today. I am now officially in the recovery double-digits. Of course, I didn't do it alone. There's zero damn way that could've ever happened...

Finally, got the deed warranty for our 20 acres. The parcel is just east of the Petrified Forest. We plan to be outta Hurricane Country by early August. I can't wait!!! Still need a temp place until our home is ready. More will be revealed, huh?
