Man oh man am i nervous.... my driving test ins march 10th... so GULP... i have done great hell i drove half of an 880 mile road trip that me and ally just took up to San Fransisco so what am i worried about... i dnk i just guess i am worried about the test giver being in the car and not relaxing,,, i mean i have driven on ice, snow, brownout while in the desert, super dense fog, at night in bad rain, during the day in rain, and just regular day and night driving.... so i should be just fine on the test right.... why am i freaking out... guess it has to deal with the fact that i am a really bad tester... but then again this is practical application from of test which i am good at so.... but i guess it is to be normal... then the other thing... looking for a car i want something that is cheap but not so cheap that i need to spend mega bucks to try and fix it right after i buy it but at the same time i wanna try to get something newer only maybe 10 years old that way it is ya know i guess safer and maybe more dependable cause it is ya know newer at the same time beggers can't be chooser... :::sigh::: plus i am getting out of the military so i am trying to get a resume together and looking for jobs which you think would be easy for an aircraft mechanic... lol... not as easy as you would think... GRRR i need a time out big time... oh and ontop of all this ally might not be able to make it to fools :( :::sniffle sniffle::: so yeah i am upset about that 2.... anyway time to sleep if i can...

A few things to practice
Driver's tests really aren't that bad once you relax. The instructor is not out to get you, they just want to get home alive. However, there were a few things I messed up on. Make sure you know where all the buttons are in your car, including the Hazard Lights. They will ask you about all of them and make sure that your car is in working order before starting. No work - no drive. As far as driving, check out the surrounding few blocks around the DMV before you test. You probably won't drive too far away and don't want to be thrown off by a blind turn when you first leave the parking lot. Other than than... good luck!

ahh driving tests, the most fun i have ever had.

Where i live there is such a shortage of driving testers that you have to wait months to get a test. Nothing has thrown me future out of my comfort zone then a driving test, I managed to fail 3 times over the course of 18months!

My best effort was cutting off a cop at a roundabout, Whoops.

good luck, if you are nothing like me and more like a normal person you should dominate it!

good luck joe :)
you are a good driver, i can vouch for that. just dont get scared when you're changing lanes, and keep your eyes looking ahead for signs and what not.
