Larry LaPrise
Fri, October 7, 2005 - 4:32 PMLarry LaPrise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Pokey," died peacefully at age 93.
The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in...and then the trouble started.
Come on...you know that was funny. Kudos to my goofy mom for that one.

Did You Know???
That the tune to Achy Breaky Heart is the Hokey Pokey??? I kid you not!! Billy Ray Cirus (Mullet Head) ripped it off.
Next time you hear Achy Breaky simply replace the words with the words frome The Hokey Pokey and you will know I am telling the truth!! You also will never be able to hear that song again (if you still could anyway) without singing the hokey pokey!!! It actually has made me having to endure that damn song just a tiny tiny bit bearable again!!!! |
