My Blog

Lately, other than being impoverished via my job at Tuesday Morning LLC, I have been waging a war against my “green cancer” of a lawn. I have successfully removed about one-quarter to one-third of the lawn in my backyard in order to replace it with a much more productive, enjoyable and ecologically friendly vegetable garden and “cat jungle”. I have basically been tearing the turf right out. All the sod produced by this is far to heavy to be thrown in the garbage can like my neighbors do. Than... read more

He who knows how to guide a ruler in the path of Tao does not try to overide the world with force of arms.
It is in the nature of a military weapon to turn against its wielder.

Wherever armies are stationed, thorny bushes grow.
After a great war, bad years invariably follow.

What you want is to protect efficiently your own state, but not to aim at self-aggrandisement.

After you have attained your purpose,
you must not parade your sucess,
you must not boast of your ability,

This just after General dip shit said homosexuality is immoral and shouldn't be allowed in the military. Now stop me if I'm missing something, but how is it immoral to be a homosexual or have tattoos but its okay to drop thousand pound bombs on villages, burn up civilians with white phosphorus, or put a rifle round through somone's head?

For the record I don't have a problem with the ... read more

Fathomless, it seems to be the origin of all things.
It blunts all sharp edges,
It unties all tangles,
It harmonizes all lights, It unites the world into one whole.
Hidden in the deeps,
Yet it seems to exist forever.
I do not know whose child it is;
It seems to be the common ancestor of all, the father of things.

Thirty spokes converge upon a single hub; It is on the hole in the center that the use of the cart hinges.

We make a vessle from a lump of clay; It is the empty space within the vessle that makes it useful.

We make doors and windows for a room; But it is these empty spaces that make the room liveable.

Thus, while the tangible has advantages, It is the intangible that makes it useful.
