Possible Pampered Chef Clusterfuck

So, lately I've been trying to find hobbies/past times to enjoy; to relax and forget how miserable I am right now with work. Something for myself, that doesn't feel like work, or unnecessary anxiety. I was invited to a Pampered Chef party and fell in love with...products. I witnessed the stoneware oval roasting pan with lid and thought, "I WANT ONE OF THOSE"...complete with the kitchen glove mittens. I bought the bamboo salt/pepper grinders and garlic press that you don't have to peel the garlic glove, and I was on fire. I found something that I got *excited* about, that was fun, and easy, and validating. Then I decided to have a catalog party. No party at my house, but a chance to "earn" more Pampered Chef...I mean, come on! Now I'm anxious and feeling pressured...I almost want to just buy the remaining $60 to my half price hostess discount. Fuck it, they won't ever know. See...clusterfuck !@#$@@$$!

cool...my tribe list actually is cleaned out. i've trimmed and waxed my tribe listings so there are NO outstanding postings. weird, i know. but it's a odd fixation i have about even numbers and things looking symmetrical. i wouldn't say it's full blown OCD, but quite possibly an affect of some sort. i just know it feels better to me.... all is well in my world. i've had conflicted feelings about tribe, really. i began to realize that i was taking "tribe attention" (or lack of) waaaay too personally. i just don't understand how ONE blog posting can have 50+ comments and certain profiles seem to get all the fucking attention. one of the only tribes i feel totally comfortable on is the Gemini tribe...the others, it's a crap shoot. i'm a newbie (relatively), and i'm in a pond with sharks who spend TIME on the internet and know a lot about computers, and are probably network admins or crack pot hackers. i dunno. i think i'll just keep posting to my own blog and create my own thing here. and maybe revamp the two little tribes that i moderate and put some fun, interesting, useful, or whatever type of information out there. if one person reads it, it's good enough for me.

my mom actually told this guy i was sorta kinda visiting/dating/whatevering that he needs to "keep on top of me, because sandra is sneaky". all of that because i was callin in from boston and failed to tell her that i took a quick 2 hour plane ride from d.c. to boston to visit a friend, and it was my business...well i also neglected to remind myself that i had delibratly decided not to tell her. so i told on myself and i said "mom, i'm at soctt's....you know, scott" and she said "scott?" i could hear the GREAT BIG QUESTION MARK IN THE DEAD AIR. then she said "oooohh, yea...scott. okay." well, then she got on the phone with him, b/c apparantly they are buddies. so i fucked myself, but it was funny :)
