<div>Howdy!

My good friend Billy who lives in the canyon, is throwing a (free) yummy party at the baseball field next to the Topanga Community Club - it's off of Topanga Canyon Blvd

Great music, good folks, sunshine, green grass, nature, and friends

That's today, Monday….1pm~ish to sunset.

He'll have his new B-52 sound system out there and is bringing some magical~amazing new tracks to share….will be chillout tunes with some up~tempo so you can get into your dance groove if you desire.

What to bring:

Picnic goodies
Hydration….perhaps a thermos of hot drinks for around sunset
Blanket to throw down and relax on the field
Good vibes
Your friends

This is a non-alcoholic gathering. There will be a self~serve superfood bar.

Hope to see your bright shining presence there!
Best to ya~

    </a>
										<div>Things are very well, I must confess. I've reached a new plateau within myself that externalizes as harmonious flow in every aspect of my life. Developing my Joyology career has opened up much in me for sure. It continuously pushes my envelope, forcing me to live on the edge of the moment, having to bring all the eggs of my basket to each present moment, while saying yes to something bigger than me and discovering that the Universe stands in front of me with the missing pieces to my huge dreams. In a way I don't know what the hell I'm doing, often questioning myself and abilities (starting my first Joyology class, developing my private practice), and on the other hand I do know. What determines that I do: continuing to show up with all I've got and not just trusting, but knowing that the Universe will respond with the other half to create what continues to be an experience of intensity and magic and synchronicity.

    Life is good right now. It's all about producing and facilitating experiences for others that heal perceptions, rather than being in a space of internal processing of stuff/lessons, blah, blah. Not to say I'm not learning anything right now. It's just that I've arrived to a point where I can focus mostly on implementing through teaching what I've been training for the last 7 years: spiritual psychology or Joyology. I'm already prepping for the next class which will be 7 weeks beginning September:

An adventure of self discovery through the cultivation of joy in each chakra

    I continue to create new positive affirmations which I gift to people everywhere I go. It's fun! I'm very grounded and focus, bored at parties less than magnificent. I went to moontribe and all I could think of was working on my projects in front of the computer. Anywhoo, I'm very grateful for the cycle I'm experiencing. Been writing more essays and poetry....</div>

From Winter to Spring inside

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/geminifairy/blog/c7ac6410-769d-48fb-852d-adfaa01544d1">  						          <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/81e/417/81e417b5-79a3-4a5f-92dc-c4f4d5d8435c.thumb" width="52" height="78" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div>*part I - poem*

It's been winter inside for about two years now,
with glimpses of summerevery now and then.
"When will this end?",
I've wondered many a time; sometimes twiddling my fingers,
waiting my turn at the merry-go-round of fun and care-free laughter.

Today I took a peak into the new cycle of my life,
slowly approaching from around the corner of my "I"
when I pranced through a daisy field cheerfully growing on a hill.
The breeze, the Earth, still moist and aromatic,
made Love through my senses....
saturating my existence with the fullness of Life.

Innocent beauty gently ruptured out from within, nursing my heart
while immediately transforming my perception,
intoxicating my very veins.

I am not the same.

Excited I feel, for the Sun is here
and it has much to say,
until again one day the Lady Sky will grace me
with her night light for me to meditate
on the verses of her Sun.
_______________________________________

part II - essay

    Just as there are seasons outside of ourselves that come and go, so too inside exists a large variety of seasons which encompass the different cycles of our life. The key is in finding the best of what each season has to offer so that we may enjoy, or at the very least, not take for granted the experience before us. Just as we wouldn't become surprised or upset when winter arrives, so too we ought to expectfully receive each inner season as it comes, when it comes, with open arms knowing it is here and it shall pass at some point, only to return. When one truly knows this, one reaches a deeper level of peace, no longer ruffled up by what is. Nothing lasts forever. Energy is everything and everything is in constant flux. It is subconscious worry that thinks one's unpleasant experience 'may last forever', which prolongs and makes the experience feel worse than it really is.

     We are taught by society to chase happiness as if it were the best thing to arrive at and live for the rest of our lives, denying the rest of human emotion or not knowing how to deal with it. We are not taught to be with life in its entirety; we don't learn to be with what is. How then can we effectively deal with the snafus of life? Simple. The truth is always simple. Have an attitude of gratitude. I bet you're really good at this when times are great. But what about when they're not? Are you greatfull then? The road through gratitude is by acknowledging and knowing that nothing is in vain and that each experience you've every had, have, and ever will have, is Divinely created to support the upliftment of who you really are. Knowing this, you can give thanks in advance for yet another opportunity to trudge through another layer of your Divine crap, only to discover more radiance. You can give thanks in advance for that you are becoming a better person, more aligned with your life purpose.

     Through your gratitude you can still acknowledge your emotions and embrace them with the same love that you would as when celebrating your birthday, or reaching an important goal. Giving thanks in advance, before knowing the good reason behind your experience, usually diminishes significantly the intensity and length of such experience. The reason for this is due to the shift from struggle against what is, to willingly receiving and embracing it. When the feeling of happiness is here, enjoy it, it will not last forever but will come and go as it pleases. When the feeling of sadness comes, do the same because it may not last forever. The quality of life is given by how you percieve it from the inside, not by the circumstances that shape it. Gratitude for all of Life as it unfolds builds trust in Life. When you have trust in the universe, you naturally gain trust in yourself; and when you have trust in your true self, life is totally for you.</div>

    </a>
										<div>Has anyone here been to a Selfcentered meditation event? I just did for the first time last nite and it was so fun! Who would've thought meditation could be so fun? They do these things called PDM's, which are Public Displays of Meditation in public places like next to night club entrances. They're having another event all weekend this weekend and wonder if you wanna go with me. All the info is on that link. I went to one of their events last nite and it was so delightful! We did a guided meditation, breathing exercises, partner exercises, etc. all to get more present with our true selves and each other and bring upon more peace from within. I feel wonderful. Check out the link and let me know if you'd be interested. It starts at 1pm.

Your April astro reading by a woman. Read yours :::

<div>Hello lovelies,
My favourite time of month is when I get to read my favourite monthly astrology by Susan Miller. It's always accurate.
Muah!

To read the rest of your forecast go to ::: http://astrologyzone.com/forecasts/

::  ARIES  ::
You'll be in a strongly experimental, adventurous mood this month, and rightly so. You're looking forward to making lots of important changes in months ahead and you're eager to get started. Now that two tough months have passed - the eclipses have delivered their messages in February or March, and Mercury is moving direct - there's no more reason to hold back.

::   TAURUS   ::
You can expect April to be a solidly good month and a vast improvement over February and March. Those were months that might have been emotionally draining for you, for February brought shockwaves due to the advent of two eclipses, and at the time Mercury was retrograde. March brought a wild and very active Uranus - planet of unexpected events - so it probably wasn't very relaxing, although admittedly, you were one of the signs that may have liked the many social surprises that were in store.

::   GEMINI   ::
You seem to have been coping with an unusual career situation that arose in February or March. The event came up suddenly and you either found it to be highly exciting or emotionally wrenching - events seem to have fallen on either extreme end of the emotional spectrum. For sure, with Uranus so active at that time, it was not likely to have been business as usual. Things were shocking, unusual, or stimulating - but not dull.

::  CANCER  ::
Finally - a month that's completely to your liking! With a crown of stars shimmering brightly at the very pinnacle point of your chart, filling your 10th house of honors, awards, and achievement with brilliant light, you have one of the best career months of the year to get that plum job or promotion. If you are tired of your job or if you don't like the people, the location, or the pay, here's your chance to break free!

::  LEO  ::
You'll be eager to spread your wings and fly to distant points as the month opens. Actually, with your career aspects due to show massive gains in early May, you'd be wise to pack up and go now, while you can. You truly have the perfect set of circumstances to leave town and enjoy a little rest.

::   VIRGO   ::
No matter what you become involved with during the first three weeks of April, the real topic underlying everything else will be money. Your eighth house will be a huge focal point, ruling "other people's money." That's a big umbrella covering the money that comes in, usually in sporadic chunks to you, outside of your regular salary.

::  LIBRA   ::
The key to your progress this month will be through merging your energies with others. With so many planets on the Western side of your chart, you won't be as productive operating on your own, so link up with others and watch your success and happiness zoom. Mercury, the Sun, and new moon will light your solar 7th house of partnerships on April 5 and set this trend in motion. Venus will quickly join this trio of heavenly bodies on the next day, so you can count on having lovely interactions with your new and intended partner.

::   SCORPIO   ::
April will be a highly productive month for you, and one in which you show just how decisive and practical you can be when the chips are down. When other people are freaking out because so much business is coming in the door with so little time to get it all done, you'll stay cool, calm, and collected as you set up workflow schedules and polish things off with high standards, all in apple pie order. Of course, you are a Scorpio, and managing in a busy, pressured atmosphere is often what you do best.

::   SAGITTARIUS  ::
April is the symbolic beginning of the zodiac. No matter where you live, Aries epitomizes the very start of new life. How appropriate that in your solar chart, Aries rules the spark of new love, and also of pregnancy and matters related to children. Also included in this house are all your most personal and creative efforts, for indeed, when you work on those, you too are bringing forth new life of a different kind.

::   CAPRICORN   ::
As beautiful April opens, home is where your heart and soul will be based. You've got plenty to be excited about, for it looks like home, property, and possibly even a major lifestyle change that you've been anxious to make are actually ready to take root. Even if you've had a hard time making residential or family-related changes in the past, a new day is dawning, and you will be able to seize opportunities as they arrive. Keep your eye on the new moon that will appear April 5 and in the two weeks that follow.

::   AQUARIUS   ::
There is plenty of energy circulating in your horoscope this month and you seem restless and eager to set off in new directions, whether metaphysically or literally. Expand the perimeters of your world, open up to new thinking, and find a way to explore greater possibilities on all levels of life. It appears that you're on the verge of a major lifestyle change, one you've long hoped to institute, and as you get closer to actually making the change, the excitement will build

::   PISCES   ::
You aren't a materialistic sign, for you are motivated by ideas, not dollars. Yet lately you've been very focused on money, possibly because you have felt that you simply don't have enough to live on or to give birth to a creative idea in a proper way.</div>

My most recent favourite quote.....What's YOURS?

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/geminifairy/blog/2f5753ea-a4de-4ffd-9ec5-b395d1e0ff7b">  						          <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/743/48a/74348aa3-95b3-41fe-b469-6156aa1659c0.thumb" width="57" height="78" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div>"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics
are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts." - Bertrand Russell

This quote sure makes me realize how much in the growth process I'm in, when I doubt myself, my beliefs or life. I haven't settled for anything, I'm always open to something more, something different, something new. This naturally opens the door to doubt/questioning. What a great place to be, constantly exploring. I may not have all the answers, but at least I'm not a fool! Yes, I am certain of many things, and these are ideas that support my life of joy.

So when you're in doubt, remember that it's a sign you're continuing to develop yourself. If you didn't have doubts, you'd be an arrogant ninny. In other words, use EVERYTHING for your upliftment and growth. Use any doubts that might come up to celebrate your expanding wisdom - and hug yourself for continuing to take the path that is not the easiest: the path of TRUTH

Comment on this quote or post your favourite.</div>

    </a>
										<div>Many of you have had a taste of my cafe at parties, indoors and out. Well, I'm taking my little service business to the next level. I've published a very simple website to promote it. I'm needing some feedback on that (text) to make sure I've included everything I should to inspire people to hire me. I've also just created a business card that I still need to order. Tell me what you think!

So if you're throwing an event, and you want to keep people nourished while partying till the break of dawn, let me know and I'll show up with my little station of delightful yummies. So far I've only done underground events, except the 2012 Conference. I'm looking into what it takes to get licensed and all that bureaucratic nonsense, to be able to do more public events. It really comes down to money/taxes 'they' want. I did find out that it's $250 for a one time event food vending license. Ouch! But if I'm a non-profit, then the year license is free. That's a thought. I wonder what that entails........For now I'll stick to events that don't require that ninie crap.

    </a>
										<div>Yes.......I did it! I completed the entire 10 day Vipassana Meditation course last Sunday. It was one of the most, if not the most challenging thing I've ever participated in - and I Loved EVERY moment of it. Say that the mind is a wild horse, that for the most part dominates oneself. The process was about using my breath and the power of equanimous observation to teach this wild horse of mine new tricks, so that I may strengthen my mastery of it. I had already started this training process long ago, but these specific 10 days of silence and meditation, leaped in bounds this journey.

I HIGHLY recommend this donation based non-sectarian, non-religious, simple, universal retreat to EVERone. I'm certainly way more calm and peaceful within myself; Not that I wasn't before this, but these qualities have certainly strengthened. I mean, when was the last time you went silence for a day, let alone 10 days! It was really refreshing not to have to speak or hear daily talking around me. This really created the space within to quiet my mind enough to see reality inside/out as it actually is.

Without a doubt, I'll do another vipassana retreat in a year or so as well as take time to serve for one as well.

										<div>Infinite thanks to those of you who supported this event by attending/volunteering/vending. We sold every seat in the house (1,200) and my "Gemini's Cafe" was also a huge hit serving vegan grilled cheese sandwiches and organic drinks galore! Unfortunately I wasn't able to see any of the speakers due to a load of coordinating, but I'm in the process of finding out how to purchase USB travel drives of the entire conference ($20). I will post it as soon as I do.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be of service doing some of the things I just love to do. There's a seed of an idea to take the 2012 Conference to San Francisco next, how exciting! It would probably happen at the end of the year. I'll keep you posted on that!

Someone just asked me what Joyology was about

<a href="http://people.tribe.net/geminifairy/blog/7d3194e2-fa15-4fa0-a712-4c748b4620c8">  						          <img class=" picThumb" src="http://images.tribe.net/tribe/upload/photo/ce1/ed7/ce1ed795-499f-48e7-a1ed-a8dc63a812a7.thumb" width="43" height="78" alt="" />
    </a>
										<div>And I answered......

Someone who lives for Joy; studies, researches, discovers it, experiences, shares it, inspires it in others. Joy(ology). A vibration that one carries in celebration for the simpleness and beauty of being alive. Maintaining this sacred state within, even in the face of circumstances. Not to say one ignores other emotions in the magnificent array of being human, but more so, it's about seeing the light behind the "dark". Joyology is a continuous state of gratitude for how it is and how it isn't . Trusting/knowing that this too shall pass and this too shall return, and that each experience has it's divinely guide purpose to support your self-realization. Seeing beauty in everything and in everyone, regardless of 'flaws/imperfections'. Having a deep sincere respect for everything and everyone. Acknowledging sacredness in all.

A beautiful story that make me cry.....

<div>Happy holydays everyone!
Gemini Ferrie

In September 1960, I woke up one morning with six hungry babies and just 75 cents in my pocket.

            Their father was gone.

            The boys ranged from three months to seven years; their sister was two.

            Their Dad had
            never been much more than a presence they feared.

            Whenever they heard his tires crunch on the gravel driveway they would scramble to hide under their beds.

            He did manage to leave $15 a week to buy groceries.

            Now that he had decided to leave, there would be no more beatings, but no food either.

            If there was a welfare system in effect in southern Indiana at that time, I certainly knew nothing about it.

            I scrubbed the kids until they looked brand new and then put on my best homemade dress, loaded them into the rusty old 51 Chevy and drove off to find a job.

            The seven of us went to every factory, store and restaurant in our small town.

            No luck.

            The kids stayed crammed into the car and tried to be quiet while I tried to convince who ever would listen that I was willing to learn or do anything. I had to have a job.

            Still no luck. The last place we went to, just a few miles out of town, was an old Root Beer Barrel drive-in t hat had been converted to a truck stop.

            It was called the Big Wheel.

            An old lady named Granny owned the place and she peeked out of the window from time to time at all those kids.

            She needed someone on the graveyard shift, 11 at night until seven in the morning.

            She paid 65 cents an hour, and I could start that night.

            I raced home and called the teenager down the street that baby-sat for people.

            I bargained with her to come and sleep on my sofa for a dollar a night.

            She could arrive with her pajamas on and the kids would already be asleep

            This seemed like a good arrangement to her, so we made a deal.

            That night when the little ones and I knelt to say our prayers, we all thanked God for finding Mommy a job. And so I started at the Big Wheel.

            When I got home in the mornings I woke the baby-sitter up and
            sent her home with one dollar of my tip money-- fully half of what I averaged every night.

            As the weeks went by, heating bills added a strain to my meager wage.

            The tires on the old Chevy had the consistency of penny balloons and began to leak. I had to fill them with air on the way to work and again every morning before I could go home.

            One bleak fall morning, I dragged myself to the car to go home and found four tires in the back seat. New tires!

            There was no note, no nothing, just those beautiful brand new tires.

            Had angels taken up residence in Indiana ? I wondered.

            I made a deal with the local service station.

            In exchange for his mounting the new tires, I would clean up his office.

            I remember it took me a lot longer to scrub his floor than it did for him to do the tires.

            I was now working six nights instead of five and it still wasn't enough..

            Christmas was coming and I knew there would be no money for toys for the kids.

            I found a can of red paint and started repairing and painting some old toys. Then I hid them in the basement so there would be something for Santa to deliver on Christmas morning.

            Clothes were a worry too. I was sewing patches on top of patches on the boys pants and soon they would be too far gone to repair.

            On Christmas Eve the usual customers were drinking coffee in the Big Wheel. There were the truckers, Les, Frank, and Jim, and a state trooper named Joe.

            A few musicians were hanging around after a gig at the Legion
            and were dropping nickels in the pinball machine.

            The regulars all just sat around and talked through the wee hours of the morning and then left to get home before the sun came up.

            When it was time for me to go home at seven o'clock on Christmas
            morning, to my amazement, my old battered Chevy was filled full to the top with boxes of all shapes and sizes.

            I quickly opened the driver's side door, crawled inside and kneeled in the front facing the back seat.

            Reaching back, I pulled off the lid of the top box.

            Inside was whole case of little blue jeans, sizes 2-10!

            I looked inside another box: It was full of shirts to go with the jeans.

            Then I peeked inside some of the other boxes. There was candy and nuts and bananas and bags of groceries. There was an enormous ham for baking, and canned vegetables and potatoes.
            There was pudding and Jell-O and cookies, pie filling and flour. There was whole bag of laundry supplies and cleaning items.

            And there were five toy trucks and one beautiful little doll.

            As I drove back through empty streets as the sun slowly rose on the most amazing Christmas Day of my life, I was sobbing with gratitude.

            And I will never forget the joy on the faces of my little ones that precious morning.

            Yes, there were angels in Indiana that long-ago December. And they all hung out at the Big Wheel truck stop....

            THE POWER OF PRAYER. I believe that God only gives three answers to prayer:
            (GOD :: Infinite Love &amp; Wisdom)

            1. "Yes!"
            2. "Not yet."
            3. "I have something better in mind."

            God still sits on the throne, the devil is a liar.

            You maybe going through a tough time right now but God is getting ready to bless you in a way that you cannot imagine.

            My instructions were to pick four people that I wanted God to bless,
            and I picked you.

            Please pass this to at least four people you want to be blessed and a copy back to me.

            This prayer is powerful, and prayer is one of the best gifts we receive. There is no cost but a lot of rewards

            Let's continue to pray for one another. Here is the prayer:....

            Father, I ask You to bless my friends, relatives and email buddies reading this right now. Show them a new revelation of Your love and power.
            Amen.
