NO, I mean it literally! I went horseback riding the past 2 weekends. Started teaching and love being back in my classroom -- oh wait -- my travelling "art-on-a-cart" classroom! The school where I am teaching is undergoing a remodel, so NO CLASSROOM until near the end of the year. However, when they are done with building I will have a wonderful "new classroom."

But wait...I am only doing this for 2006-2007 school year at this school. I am a long-term subsititute for a "regular teacher" who is taking a leave of absence! I know that I will have a job for the next year, 'cause I am listed in 4....that's right 4 county school districts. WOW! Talk about fatigue -- try applying in 4 school districts -- the paperwork is grueling!

Art update...well not much painting going on here. My September show was cancelled because of my decision to start teaching...but I have rescheduled it for October 6. I will have all of September to get ready...I can do it! [At least I am going to give it the 'ole college try!] Miss all of you...talking to you in my various TRIBES! I will purpose to do better about keeping you all in the loop. TTFN...genny
