Last week I couldn't spell inginear... Now I are one Please substitute "in vi run mentalist " for "in gin ear" to bring it up to date...
Why hire a lawyer to try and fix your plumbing and electrical problems? If you think about it a bit you might find that we are presently enjoying the results of doing that for the last forty years or so.

Dropped by Powell's bookstore yesterday and picked up a copy of "The Atrocity Archives" by Charles Stross, Penguin Group, 2004. For those of you who enjoyed the technomages on Babylon 5 I suspect you will really get into this one. It is sort of techno thrillers meet H. P. Lovecraft type reading done with a sense of humor... Hope some of you have some fun with this one.... grins

Yesterday I traveled to Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) for my every six months cardiac check-up. I have noticed in the past that all of the exam rooms I have been in now have computers in them and my doc enters his exam notes into one during our interview. At the end of the session I receive a copy which is cool. I take it home and keep it in a binder. Anyway, it brought a question to mind. Was the computer being used as a diagnostic tool?

George is much better on the phone :)
He's a great guy, lots of knowledge, and he puts puts pop-magicians to shame before they even wake up to figure out what shit they will be speaking. Always have great conversations with him, and he is an occult treasure.
