Gerard is an all-around caring and spirited fella and a kick-ass audience member. He's attentive, insightful, and generous with his feedback. Gerard's eyes and ears (to say nothing of the rich and well exercised matter behind and between them!) are very valuable to the performing arts community.

I just love Gerard!!!
Whenever I'm down or really need someone to talk to, he's always been the best listener I could have *REALLY!* and yeah we do have two way conversations (contrary to popular belief I don't always talk to the wall). Whatever advice he throws my way, it always made good sense.
He's very funny, witty and really really really smart. (remember I love geeks)
I miss hanging out with him on Saturdays (FYI I'll be back soon)

Gerard is a steady force of nature. The tides look to him for guidance. He made bodhisattva on just four perfections. Gerard brings silence to locust, volcanoes, and brooks by waiting them out. When Angkor Wat stared into him he stared also into Angkor Wat. Icebergs die on their way to see him. He bestowed elegance to the heron, equanimity to the toad, and endurance to the Mars rovers. He is the silence between the noun and the verb...

about me
I'm a walkin', talkin' contradiction in terms. I'm an outgoing introvert and a shy extrovert. I love outdoors and nature but I love city life. I'm a lover of writing and music and ideas and people. I love sublety and sarcasm and self-definition. I love anything which is new or different or alternative or breaks from "tradition", however you define it. I love architecture and design and engineering and art. I like politics and philosophy and current affairs and history. I love travel and communicating and seeing the world. I'm trying to get into being less of a consumer of life and more of a creator whether that be through creating photography or video or writing or the eternal learning process or whatever shape it takes that I can't define just yet.
Not sure who reads this but I'll post here, too.

I wasn't reading Tribe for a while for a couple of reasons.
1) I was a bit tired of it.
2) I upgraded my version of IE to IE7 Beta and this totally scrod the interface. Tribe's interface was so effed up I couldn't use it.
I now have a computer running IE6 again and I won't upgrade until IE7 is released, if at all.

OBTW, I filed my taxes over the weekend using TurboTax. Got the confirmation last night.
Yay! I'm getting back a good amount of money from both the Federal and CA. Hmm, I think it's time for a new home computer?
