i made this today.... after a two year dry spell.

So, every time I encounter a really cool Bedouin Burqa... it costs way too much money.
.....which led me to compile some reference pics, and make my own, in two styles- the full, and diagonal half coverage.
Mind you, I have no Bedouin textiles, so I made do with chopping up a choli that never looked right on me- so I never wore it.
(boy those cholis do strange things to boobs! and I should alter the few I have left)
