for those of you that don't know, shortly before this past pennsic, i went on a primitive survival skills field course in the wilds of Boulder Utah. three instructors, eight students. maybe 15 miles of hiking a day, give or take, with four stationary days, two of which were solo, assigned to a plot of land to call your own. my debris shelter had a kick ass oak leaf door and my fire was my pride and joy, fruit of my...well hands, i guess.
