Mike is a friend for life. We call him smiley for a reason. His zest for life and love is something we can all be grateful for. He's a technological wizard, and a magnificent musician. Mike's gift is simply love itself. He posesses a firm moral standing strengthened by profound self-respect. This is a gift in itself. I am very happy to have him as a friend, a guide, and a companion.

I love Mike for many reasons, one of them being he always puts a smile on my face :P

That was horribly pedestrian but the kind of thing I do around you, say whatever comes to mind without the fear you won't think I'm cool. Usually, actually, you'll laugh at my stupidity in a way that makes me feel more intelligent (unlike someone who would put usually,actually together so wrecklessly). You make me feel witty, and you're prone to the occasional quirp that is FAR from lackluster.
You are the only one who thinks my desperate Bjork imitation is worth a grain of margarita salt.
Oh yeah and also behind all this frivolous bs you're actually a good person. I know all sides of you, the bursts of light, the days of darkness, and still remember many times we had without Jamie where we really got a chance to bond. (Except that one time we had a minifight in my minicar). But then I moved to Baltimore and turned back into a "Jamie's side" only combo deal. Nuh uh, Mike. You and I.
