about me
I'm currently working on obtaining two certificates at Pasadena City College for Small Computers and Programming and a B.A. in Communication Disorders at Cal State Los Angeles. However, I'm now considering changing my major to Japanese since I am currently preparing to pass the Japanese Kanji 1st Grade exam.

The last three months have quite an interesting journey for me. I had the privilege of working with children who have various physical, mental, and emotional challenges. The experience and time that I spent with them was priceless. I developed wonderful relationship with each of the students I worked with. Every day and every hour that I worked with them, regardless of their behaviors, brought me greater realizations of myself and appreciations for those who taught me. The experience bro...

So I’m in class listening to lecture and thought I would post a simple blog as to where I’m at in my life. I’ve decided to make this academic year my finish-what-you-started year. At the end of last year, I fulfilled my goal of losing, approximately, 50 lbs. It had been a long struggle trying different exercises and diets to find the one that would best work for me. This evening, I read an article about two teenage girls, in Sonoma County, who set a small kitten on fire for their amusement and pleasure. This is a horrendous act for teenagers—children—to be doing to helpless animals, regardless of gender. Hurting an innocent defenseless being is wrong—I don’t care how you perceived it. As beings that inhabit this planet, we all have the right, as innocents, to learn, grow, and become who we are. Malicious acts such as this should not be tolerated. Ac...

Sometimes when we lose something, we just have to start all over. That has been my situation with my online profiles and blogs this past couple of weeks. Somehow, I lost my account on MySpace a couple of weeks ago. I wasn’t sure why, so I tried contacting customer service. To no avail, I ended up searching for a new profile/blog site.
