about me
At certain times in my life I've felt empty as if I have no purpose or reason for being here. When I was young I began a quest searching for the answer to my existence. The journey took me to extremes, high and low. It took me to far away places mentally, spiritually, and physically. At several points I nearly died and some parts of me have never recovered, but what's left has been refined. I traveled into love and out of it, but true love never fully goes away, only fades. I have reached out to God for guidance but I still feel hollow on the inside. I know now that nothing material or physical can fill me. The void I percieve is spiritual in nature and requires a spiritual solution. I suspect I won't find the answer while Im still connected to this body. May be death will bring the answer. Some days I gaze at the sky, not sure of what I'm looking for but looking all the same. Life is an amazing and strange occurence. So is the Earth and all that's taking place here. I never lose my interest while pondering these mysteries.
Mountain climbing has become my main passion for the time being. Here you will find I have dedicated a whole page to photos and summit logs from my various expeditions with friends:

It was a slightly chill day near the end of the summer. The imminent onset of winter's depression was almost a tangible force, hanging in the air. My girl and I went down to the beach to enjoy ourselves and make the most of it. We walked along the sand next to the railroad tracks. We were searching for a place away from the other people, where we could be alone. After some time we came to a large drainage tube leading under the tracks. We hunched over and walked through this into the wo...

Is the dream state the inverse of waking life? Is consciousness a fractional relationship, lucidity the numerator and somnolence the denominator? Does there exist a common ground? Perhaps the lucid dream. What is the spiritual significance of such rare occurrences? What happens when important dreams are born into reality. Is this an example of prophecy or merely the expression of inspired conception? The method matters not for the result is transfixed. These visions of the night unvei...

Disenchanted with the normality of daily life, I set out to end the mystery that is heroine. With my very first experience I changed every day that would ever follow. I signed myself over to slavery and endless insatiable desire. Within a single day, the world around me was forever transformed into a drab, gray shell. Things that were once considered important, lost all luster. Future goals jettisoned their sense of purpose. A day stretched into months. The delusion told me that self-...

The dreamer rejects the external world in favor of internally constructed ideals and a unique perception intermingled with imagination. I was talking to a Schizophrenic woman last night. Marilyn is a wonderful lady, always talking and laughing to herself whether or not anyone is listening. I listen. She has a beautiful smile, the smile of a child. I told her I wasn’t sure what to make of this whole life thing. She asked me what I meant. I told her that it all seems so weird to me and t...
