turning inward, home bound, cozy & warm sleepy & snuggly with my man on the couch reading, eating, talking, loving remembering how lucky I am to have a nice house, food, heat, people that love me and people that I LOVE! 
feel happy... sitting here at work, killing time until the clock hits 5:30 & listening to tunes... realizing how lucky I am to be able to listen to music while I'm at work... makes the time go by... dancing in my chair... co-workers walking by grooving to the tunes I'm playing... getting funky today w/ some Maceo Parker, New Mastersounds, P-Funk, Galactic & Karl Denson...

gotta keep things in focus & work on the things that I can control... and know that this is not one of them.... Need to remember & KNOW how truly blessed I am to even have a job, let alone one that I actually LIKE! and really, the money (or lack of increase) is not that big of a deal, more that they didn't even give me a "token" raise... you know, the old toss the dog a bone.... read more 
days are getting shorter, shadows are getting longer... the sun moves across the sky faster... soon it will be time to turn the clocks back & prepare for the holidays...

my internal yearly calendar starts after each festival ends, and so many times each year, I count how much more time till the fest... how many months? how many days? how many hours & minutes till I am home again in Shady Grove with my ever expanding family??
