8. The last afghan I crocheted was commisioned by a lovely woman who passed away 5 days after she received it. The blanket I am creating now is for a baby girl who will be coming in January...life's comings and goings are so powerful...

Feelin' Great-Full...

Hello Lovely Ones~ I'm sittin' here at the salon thinking of all of you and I am so grateful that I'm in a salon that is so creative and allows me to be so creative and sell my jewelry (I sold a necklace and 2 pair of earrings to a client today) and I'm just waitin' for the phone to ring and while I do I'm crocheting a technicolor rainbow shawl and I just came back from takin' a smoke break with my friend... soooooooo... right now, I'm ALL RIGHT... it feels really good after such a tumultuous month... anyway... I love ya'll real hard, Ginger

Rockin' in Frankin, NC

Hey Beautiful Ones~ I just spent a delightful Monday with Ribbet in Franklin, NC rock hunting. We did Aeolus' "magickal crystal tour" and hit all of the hot spots! In particular, Ribbet scored a GORGEOUS piece of Apatite that one of the shop owners brought directly to him for purchase (and was then almost reluctant to sell). Check out the pics 1 and 2... my bootie is on the first pic and Ribbet's the second. I got some black tourmaline (I'm really feelin' it right now) to support purification, releasing stuff that no longer serves and release fear. I've got my court hearing today for the car accident, so maybe that's why I was drawn to it. Interestingly, when I meditated with it over my hara last night, I felt an immediate pulling or drawing down energy... I just let it flow, let it go... have any of you had that experience with black tourmaline before?? Cool, but a strange feeling, like I was pulled down into the earth itself.
The labradorite piece is a birthday gift for Shulie, my lovely wife, and the stone flashes a soft blue green like nothing I have ever seen. She's really into it and is carrying it with her everywhere she goes... She'll be stuffing her bras with rocks like I do before you know it!!!
