Today is my birthday! I am planning on celebrating tonight at Trannyshack at the Stud. Come play : )

My new show is opening tomorrow and playing for this weekend only! This is the first show we're doing that doesn't involve gallons of flying blood, and we've gotten inventive with new ways to play with the crowd. This show has presented me with some of my biggest technical costuming challenges, and I've produced some work that I'm very proud of. And I get to wear my unicorn costume again. I would love for my friends to come see!

Like so many adventures around this city, this one began on Craigslist. “Crazy Costumes & Acts Wanted for Last Comic Standing.” Not like I’d ever heard of that show. But I’ve got costumes galore I’m just dying to break out, so I respond. I receive an enthusiastic call from the casting director. They are in dire need of visual acts. They promise to move me in and out of the process quickly if I will show up in costume.
