Frustration

He broke my barn door (damn it to hell! ) He tweaked a stall He put ridges in his horns because of slamming his head against cattle panels all afternoon He pisses all over himself and tries to get scratches and kisses (god luv him) He bent a panel (going to buy a rubber mallet and fix it today) I have put of craigs list adds for a free goat to good home... nothing I just emailed a friend to see about donating him to her brush control company. I'm ready to drop him off in someones horse field but I can't bring myself to do that, they need their hooves trimmed and that would be animal cruelty in about three months. GGGGAAAAAHHHHH! Demon Goat!!!!! retained testicle, can't get it removed for less than 600.00, already had it ultra sound, its way back inside his innards.

I must go on vacation, I have my new trailer (used but SO excited, took me a year to find it), I have some very willing goaties to carry my load once there. Why am I still here? Has anyone heard of the "Indians" in King City I believe, well its not too far and I think I'm going to explore it in April. I get some time off so why not use it? Thanks Zulu!

It was amazing, I got soaked, but my gear hung in like a champ. I really loved being out in our first rain of the winter. The water was warm, no wind and the temperatures probably were still upper 60's. Ideal hiking conditions because you don't get the dust from the summer sands. Lots of views and the smells were incredible. I'm out of shape because as soon as I got to the car, my back started to stiffen up. So I'm getting my bootey in running spead, I plan on doing a schedule every week. I have a few friends who like the area so I plan on using them as excused to get out. The colors were magnificent even in the rain, when I felt like a washed up rag. The red clay rock, the sand, the green leaves the brown's and golds of the mountains.

I saved probably between 6-8 HUNDRED dollars by taking all my knowledge and research and testing it out on my very very sick goat. she had a fever, couldn't move, bloated out, wouldn't eat, wouldn't drink and had the million mile stare going on I did it though, I had all the emergency med's on hand from ordering it way ahead of time, most came from out of state since we here in CA need a vet prescription to get/use them.. for example Epinephrine I am so tired, its been two days of nonstop doctor care, maybe I should have become a vet?

My barn

Well last night was the first night my critters could sleep in the new barn. The pad took forever to get finished, lots of tractor work and then getting it packed. The stalls have big rubber mats which I still need to work on leveling. The middle isle will be covered in decomposed granite and on the left side will be my work area which will have a wood floor when I'm finished. So its still work in progress but usable. The stalls are actually custom welded, I was able to tell the welder what I wanted exactly, its pretty nice. Expensive but nice. I'll probably end up tweaking things a bit after I see how they settle in. My dad came over yesterday and we worked on a retaining wall down side of the barn. He works for the phone company so he brought some old telephone poles over. That was a big job the the poles are really nice and staking them in wasn't too bad. Just a little leveling and digging.

I had my hearing with the board last night. It went great! Better than great, they actually complimented me on how I handled things and told me they (board) was there to support me. Long story short, they sided with me 100%. I feel like a million bucks today, sooooo nice. Thank you friends for supporting me too ............big group cyber hug :) *smooches*

I bought two, one adult and one three week old. They are both really sweet and good natured goats. The adult was a botttle baby so she is very friendly which is a must around our tiny herd. I need to be gone for three nights away from them and I'm hating it! I have to go to Oakland to take some tests so I'll be staying at my Mom's house. It will be up to my darling husband to take over while I'm gone... oh woe is me.. he hasn't even seen them yet! He's been out of town. I hope he remembers to not over heat the baby bottle! This new job will give me so much time to train and take care of all the animals at our house. I am feeling really blessed today.

Don't Assume That God Voted for You No incarnation of the Creator of All Things is registered as a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and nowhere on the Academy ballots is there a category for Best Vessel Through Whom God's Blessings Might Flow. (There remains some question, however, about whether Jesus Christ personally chooses the Grammy winners.) Winning an Oscar does not make you a special agent of God's will or the divine favorite over your fellow nominees -- or, for that matter, over the lepers in your category who must suffer the enduring shame of not even being nominated. (Didn't Jesus say that the un-nominated would inherit the earth?) Do not demean the concept of the Almighty by implying that either you, or the members of the Academy who voted for you, are somehow helping to implement God's Mysterious Plan so that you all can bring about the End Times. Even if it's true, don't. It's just bad form.

Work has been so hard and rushed I haven't had the want or need to get out. I basically come home do the chores, play on the internet and kiss my hubby. I was finally able to break through this little cycle and hang out with a wonderful girlfriend, free of worries. It was really refreshing. I think I've been taking my work to seriously, letting it get to me, waking at 3am just to lie awake in the dark thinking about the days work ahead. It helped I had a wonderful mixture of guava martinis : )

Vivian A. Brown and Marian B. Brown, born eight minutes apart. These two have been walking around Union Square since the 70's. Originally from the midwest they fell in love with SF. They are so fun to talk to, they complete each others sentences. Let me tell you about this picture. They are so competitive with photos, they try to get one step in front of the other. They love to see themselves after the picture is taken and quick to say lets take another one. They could care less if the folks they are posing with end up 10ft in back of them as they scuffle their feet competitively trying to get slightly in front of the other. I'm on the right, in blue, look how far they are in front. They have there own Twin business card complete with their picture filling the whole back side. They were on the news a few days ago, they dress completely alike, never been married, live and socialize together. You will never see one without the other. They hold on to each other all the time, they might as well share an arm. When we caught up with them in the Macy's cafe they were eating the same foods! I had fun with them but I think after about an hour you may find yourself passing these beauties off to a friend. (mom and sister in-law in the BACK on left)

Its been years of growing this viny little Abutillion in the house. They are notorious bloomers but they are outside vines. I did it, my first flower on this bugger. I wanted to share my excitement with ya'll. It need the additional light and warmth we've had. The sun isn't usually positioned right for this vine to get enough direct light in the summer. It is now and the weather has been fabulous.

T-Day Holiday

Went car camping over T-Day weekend. It was so cold but lots of fun. I need to buy one of those doggie coats this guy had a hard time in the mornings. Hiking every day all day, coming back to camp, drink beer, eat lots of good food, and try to make funny jokes to keep the cold night from getting us down. We had a blast, would do it again. The hikes were spectacular, visited indian ruin sites and climbed lots of rock faces with wonderfull views.
