My mom passed away yesterday from complecations of lung cancer and stroke. It had been a long painful battle what we were unprepair for to fight. In the end we couldn't do anything at all but to keep her comfortable. Her last words were to me. I said, "Hi Mom its me." and she said "I love you" in a weak wisper. Today the U.S. Supreme Court heard the case where in 2002 in Juno Alaska, of a student Joseph Frederick, who held up a large banner which read, “Bong Hits 4 Jesus”, during the running of the Olympic torch. What happened next was the principal of the school saw the banner and suspended Frederick from school for 10 days. This is a story inspired by all of the plastic packaging which I had to fight to get into so my son and I can enjoy out Christmas gifts. The item in the story was my stocking stuffer.

I am very excited. I am excited about this Saturday. This Saturday October 28 is the Hamden Halloween festival. It in is not a very big event. In fact the event it’s self is quite small. My wife had a antique shop in Hampden and one of the merchants in the area showed her a beautiful cat that needed a home. It once was the pet of a local who was no longer capable of taking care of her. Since I had just suffered the lost of my own cat she thought it would be nice to bring this one home.
