about me
Goetzlich DJ Goetzlich has been playing music since the spring of´93 when the world of vinyl caught his attention and his local record store became his second livingroom. His debut performance was at the Yoma with his first big booking following soon after at the Warehouse, the real birth of DJ Goetzlichs career. In '97 Götz organized (with other usual suspects DJ Nuke, Msilon, Dns and Casio) their first "Far Out" party in Mubu Aachen (Germany) and by '99 he had already promoted five more parties under this “Far Out“ label. Musically the parties were progressive trance, psy-trance, house and ambient. (More recently in March ’03 “Far Out“ had a revival party combined with “Synergy-Trance“ making “Far Out“ number 7, with guest performances from Magnetrixx & Morganixx (live) and Dj Sally Doolally.) During the summer of '98 he also came together (with Nuke, Audin and other groovers of the D’dorf breakbeat-scene) to establish an alternative to the Duesseldorf house-scene. The first "Gravity Breax" in spring '99 was a big hit and Goetzlich is still playing Breakbeatz and BigBeat stuff, which he plays regularly on parties from www.tonson.de (the main-breakbeat-community in Cologne). He´s one of the start-up members of synergy-trance. In Juli 2001 was his first appearance for synergy-trance on the “trip-o-delic odyssey” in Cologne, which was the first party of this upcoming party-crew. Goetzlichs DJ bookings continued to grow in the progressive & tech-trance scene, with him playing in many locations in Germany including “Filmhaus“ (Cologne), Baikonur (Essen), Musikbunker (Aachen) plus more and also internationally at “Dance-A-Delic“ (Belgium), “La Playa“ (Spain), Spuugh (NL) and “Full Moon Party“ (Koh Phangan/Thailand). When Goetzlich discovered the Thailand-Party-Scene in Jan 2003 he was soon invited to play on a very special party at the Backyard-Pub on Koh Phan Ghan together with the resident DJs from the Backyard, along with Atmos, Noma & Bakke from Spiral-Trax (SW). Goetzlich has also organised by himself several open-air parties during the summer months in the last years, at various outdoor locations in Germany. Musical styles in Goetzlichs record case include Progressive trance, goa-stuff, tech-trance, deep-house and everything that grooves.
