I've been re-connecting with folks from over the years these last few weeks, so nice!
I got a roommate, part-time, we used to live together in Carbondale. He brought home a kitten, which is, of course, irresistibly adorable. I'm training Rex to not eat the plants, not go on counters, and also trying to make the cat and dog who live here OK with this whole event. And train the roommate to empty the litterbox.

A great show at Mountain Fair last week, but here the balance is being set again. I am not working at GreenSpot anymore, the eco-friendly building materials and home products retailer. It was a great idea, but poorly managed. I was thinkin of getting away anyhow, but I've been let go. Must say... I'm relieved! At least I learned alot, especially about how NOT to run a business. Yay!! The HEAT is on!! Warm air blows out these orfices in my floor, and I'm not wearing a jacket! It was 42 in here yesterday morning, and YIP_EEE now I have HEAT! All 40-or so gas connections are GOOD and airtight! Woooweeee!! Boy, I needed that! aaaahhhh

as you surely guessed, i'm heading into 2008 in an 1898 victorian without heat or sinks n tubs. It being fairly COLD tonight in the mountains of Colorado, even my dinky space heaters are seeming Lame.
My dreads turn 9 years old today, begun with Buckie and Jenn Johnson in 1998 at my sweet beloved Sunlight Cabin. It was 33 degrees BELOW zero in the town ofCarbondale that night, and that's over 2000 vertical feet below! I was 28, hee hee. makes it not seem so cold in this house. yeah!
