Gothalot was the first individual I met when I arrived in Black Rock City, driving the Blood Vessel to come and rescue iRONic and I from the evil forces of Gate and Perimeter. He's real. He's larger than life. I love him as a friend, and he's the brother that I never had. If he needs me, anytime, anyplace, anywhere, I'm there as soon as he calls. He'll be a great Dad.

One night, on the Playa, I walked out of Spikes Vampire Bar with Gothalot and a few Minions.
It was a BIG mistake!! We wandered. We flew. We went places in Black Rock City that I didn't know existed; and truth be told...shouldn't! He has served this Community in many ways, but he still drinks freaking blood! His powers (and the rest of the unholy dead in his crew) extend to getting hapless/tit crazed/DPW to break down their Theme Camp in the middle of a whiteout! It just ain't right, Man! I have never met a nicer Vampire, he makes smoothies for us, he all play scrabble with Butterfly and Steamboat and I. He has added much interest to our landscape, with a herst (Clarise, a Criptobego, the Blood Vessel, and the most amazing TOC Crane, yes, right in our meadow. Our neighbors don't know how great it is to have a bat and a butterfly flitting around doing good deeds.

The Rue Morgue cannot make it to playa this year without donations from everyone. The goal is set. Please help. An updated video of what we did in 09 is here: www.youtube.com/watch 
The Rue Morgue is at it again. We will have our usual custom of origami folding dedicated to loved ones past during the day to be taken to the temple at the end of the event for burn , Weddings upon request in the Zombie Temple AND a new addition to our night time festivities... "INFECTED" a true Zombie bar.

Zombies take over the Elmira Cabin to get The Rue Morgue camp to Burning Man 2011. So come out in your best zombie/ steampunk garb or both. 21+ This event is a fundraiser for the Rue Morgue Burning Man theme camp, this is a free event with no cover and live bands so come and get infected. II think sometimes the world has enough activists. Im not selfish, I just don't do it well. I did a few years stint with Greenpeace on actions and day to day op stuff. Its not to say I should stop yelling and screaming for whats right , and I often do, most that know me see that. But as I get older I understand more the battles to which Im most effective.
