like apparently james is actually useful or something by day. but i only that's he's a total sweetie and stitch in the side funny. and he deserves his own stage act. 9 out of 10 girls with boyfriends recommend him. while he might pretend to be shy he's a maniac of a dancer and he doesn't even step all over your feet *all* the time. i think you should give him what he wants.

So the event I was hoping to have months ago will be rescheduled to sometime in Sep. - probably the 19th or 26th. This is not a gothic event per se, but rather an elegant evening gathering of scotch tasters and those who would love to pour for them, so fine evening clothing of any style or period as long as it is not modern. The idea is to have anachronistically uncommon fun.

So during an absinthe-fueled discussion with Ms. Trystan Bass of GBACG during Convergence 15, I mentioned the annual winter Sonoma Valley wine crawl and how I and a few goths dressed up formal-style and hit a bunch of tasting rooms in Healdsburg to oooohs and ahhhhs. I'll admit it, I'm a law geek. I can discuss both prongs of the SLAPP statute and the litigation privilege all fucking night long.
I love good sarcasm, meat, red wine, and a medical-quality cookie ;-> I really enjoy the art of conversation - with how you say it as important as what you say. I love to use humor, especially the one-off situational remark. I like a girl with an air of mystery about her. I'm an INTP. Spock over Kirk, Maryann over Ginger, goth over industrial, and you over me. Here's something pretty strange: I can drink black coffee on an empty stomach all day long, but half a cup of tea w/o food makes me very nauseous. Also, ok, for the life of me, I cannot learn to waltz. I *know* how, but I get dizzy very easily, so I'm sticking to less spinning stuff, which is a shame because the waltz can be very romantic (I do make an exception for the Congress) I do love the festive/decadent atmosphere and wish we had 18th/19th c.-style gothic salons around here
