the Grand Mystery of Chaotic Consistency

<div>Since Space and Time are aspects of the same phenomenon, and the 'Space' on this planet is becoming less and less; is Time truly speeding up?
It sure feels that way to me. A lot is happening all around us and seemingly at faster and faster rates. I'm talking about the actual feel of minutes, hours and days as they pass, as well as the events of our lives. How can something like this be measured? (Certainly not by looking at a clock!) Everyone is having their own unique experience, yet there are many people who can relate to this same feeling.
What do you think? *Now* is the ultimate exercise in moving from center...

Elements

<div>Been thinking about elements. From the standpoint of Martial Arts, the four 'main' or traditional elements can be conceptualized as approaches or ways of inter-acting (intra-acting?) with situations. Any Situation. So I would like to share this developing map as it is sketched in my own mind. Using 'confrontation' as a model;
Water. This reresents 'moving with' an attack. Swallowing and forming around an attack. Often cited as an element representing martial arts themselves, as Bruce Lee said, "Be like water my friend".
Wind. This one is very intriguing to me. It is 'ghost-like' and involves 'moving around' an attack. When mastered one can truly disappear from an adverse situation and still be present. It is the essence of the 'no touch' techniques that can still quite effectively throw someone.
Earth. This is slightly ambiguous to me as far as application. It involves rooting and 'holding ground'. It has been described to me as being the approach used when you are the only thing standing between threat and a loved one.
Fire. This one is exciting. This involves 'attacking the attack' or 'beating them to the punch'. Right as a threat approaches, you are a beat ahead.
Now the cool thing is that every element has the essence of every other element within it. They blend and morph from one into the other as dynamics change. As we all are buliding our own maps of reality, it is fun to play with and conceptualize an individual approach *remembering that no 'one' can have all the answers. (Who wants 'all the answers' anyways?). Now these ideas are still rather new to me. It has me thinking of other elements (wood, metal... ??) and the many possible ways of being. A simple change in tactics is usually all that's needed for a success (whatever particular 'success' one is looking for). </div>

Don't miss the relevance;
Know the difference!

Experience piques interest,
Adjust perception if you're getting It
If not, Listen... </div>
