Boo! No SantaCon for me

Forgot about Christmas bonus this year, so I didn't free up for weekends as I will be leaving for SAC for Christmas. So, so 4-Sided Santa spinning kids around and giving them candy canes and Mardi Gras beads. I will see if the German intern staying here will want to do so...

back online yay!

Got a loaner PowerBook from a former neighbor, looking at getting one of these for my own one of these days. My basement living leaves me to believe that the electricity situation won't be healthy for a desktop, but until I get the memory looked at I won't know for sure. In the meantime, I am getting art projects under way suck as making a steampunk monocle, gutting a silk dress to make a tarot card bag, and dying my white ribbon roses black for a future hat. The downtime's been productive :)

New beginnings on Halloween

I was maid of honor at a wedding in Hillsboro for Halloween.I felt I needed a fresher outlook towards Halloween/ Samhain, and hanging out with Arwen and Aragorn while they handfast was perfect. The flower girl, Wednesday Addams, managed to keep a straight face ( as were the rest of us) throughout even with the connotations that come through a "religion-neutral ritual".
