Staying Current

Throughout my practicing career, every aspect of dentistry has changed so much that very llittle of what I do on a daily basis was taught in dental school. In order to keep up with clinical and technical advances, I have made a commitment to spend time and much study to further my dental education and knowledge.

In 1994, I became a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). This was a milestone achievement, which involved the successful completion of 500 hours of education and a comprehensive examination. At the outset of this course of study, I merely desired to keep current as a dentist. Attaining a Fellowship later became a goal whereby I could show my children the value of making a lifelong commitment to education.
