How have I managed to know this generous, kind, fantastic person and NOT written a testimonial? Some sort of kitten sleep deprived induced mistake on my part, obviously. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sandey - poet, honest, offerrer of advice, adoring of my good friends, ingenius, clever oh so clever, and fantastic.

And he knows how to make puppets, um do stuff, I mean what's cooler than that? That's right-NOTHING cause puppets rock! Except clown puppets, cause those are kinda scary...

Sandey has been in my life and in my heart since Agoura 1979. Day after day, I would sit on the ground, closest to the stage (the front row wasn't quite close enough). My memories of his artistic entertainment from Cock and Feathers and Salami Del Amore are endless. I looked forward every morning to meeting my personal star backstage to watch him be himself! He was a beautiful person to be in the same environment with, he shown bright. Sandey was and forever will be an inspiration in my life...through my childhood memories and as an adult, he has guilded me countless times (with or without his knowledge) to being a better person. He has given me tools to continue through adversity with my head held high. He has given me strengths using his time and compassion as a fellow human being on the same journey through life. He is priceless and amazing. I love him and his ideals as a super compassionate Renaissance Man! Thank you Sandey for being a constant goodness in my life~

All I can say is that I am the luckiest girl alive to have someone as big-hearted as Sandey. I love you!!!!

When I first saw Sandey perform in his infamously outrageous troupe, Cock & Feathers, at the northern Renn Faire back in 1972/73...I was, er, uh, I was, uh, jealous, no! inspired, no! very happy for him and everyone witnessing the magical spell cast on the audience. Charisma is certainly there but not without a heady mix of humor and imagination tipping the scales from sheer delight to giddy delirium. As a performer myself in those halcyon days of lore, I will always remember Sandey for the combined forces of his courage, talent and brilliance, a whirlwind that crossed the borders of ego into obnoxiousness as much as genius. And for this, he is eternally forgiven and blessed.

If you get a chance to see this guy perform or work with him in a show do not hesitate! Go for it! I have known Sandey on the boards for over twenty five years, and he has that unusual quality of energy that really lights up a stage. More than once I have seen him connecting and perofrming for a rapt audience of thousands of people truly having everyone hanging on his every word. Mostly he makes the audience laugh a lot and go away happy. He is a gifted pupeteer and a talented voice actor.

I think that it is called "charisma" usually, and in my experience at Faire I rarely saw anyone who could match Sandeys fire once you light him up and put him out on the stage.
