There are very few people I'm as happy to see after falling off my recently pristine motorcycle repeatedly in the mud, or getting hit by a car, or, well, pretty much in general...
Incredibly sweet and incredibly dirty.
Look, there's even mud on his nose!

As most of you probably know, James, my best friend of twenty two years, now turned champion sidecar racer, was involved in a serious crash at the Isle of Man TT during a practice lap on Saturday, May 27th.
The sidecar pilot, Doug Dano, was release from hospital a few days ago, pretty well worn and beaten, but making the best of it on crutches. My friend James on the other hand has been in a coma state of unconsciousness since the accident ten days ago and remains there today.

Along with a half dozen of my fellow San Francisco Motorcycle Club members I spent my Saturday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay as a volunteer worker at “Legend of the Motorcycle”, the world’s first “Concourse de Elegance” for motorcycles.

Hmmmmm, decisions for Jesus.

Last Friday marked my sixth pilgrimage to Depeche Mode since Black Celebration, but for my wife this was her first, her birthday present. We arrived at HP Pavilion one hour before ...

Having the culinary bug put back into my head by Eleanor this week, I found myself back in the kitchen at the business end of an oven for the first time in years. Trying to ease myself gently back under the chef’s hat I figured that maybe I should start simple.
Perhaps starting of with a traditional New York Mac & Cheese or my Oriental Stir Fry? “Lo Chaver”. This time I was treading into the undiscovered territories of pastry baking from scratch. After preparing the dough, followed by a one ...
