How does one begin to even describe Groovinkim? That alone is a challenge. Her subtle yet devoted contributions to communities similar to this one have produced incredible results that have touched the lives of thousands of people from Canada to Mexico. Without really knowing it, I think Kim has become an important but sublime link in a quiet network of incredible people. Personally, I couldn’t imagine the city of Seattle without Groovinkim. Her celebrity there is widely known, and appreciated by those who aren’t native Seattleites themselves. Yet despite her fantastic celebrity and connectedness, she remains to many, a mystery. Her articulate expression in many forums and communities reveals her to be an elusive and sexy creature, capable of tremendous depth of reason and philosophy that belies her years. Does anyone really know Groovinkim? Will any of us really comprehend the depth behind the legend? It’s hard to say. I for one, am continually intrigued, and look forward to what her future holds. Perhaps it is because I met Kim such a long time ago, and have had the pleasure to see her continue to develop and expand upon the things that she holds important, and values in her life. For that alone, I would have to say that getting to know Kim is quite an adventure.
