Yeah, but you lost 22 lbs. and 2 inches! That's fantastic! And, that's just in the past 5 weeks, right? Good job.

I know - I'm just getting tired of all this meat. It might be easier if we ate more than just beef and chicken, but Kelly won't do pork, I can't do fish and neither of us really cares for lamb all that much. (Okay, if it's mixed with beef it isn't too bad, but alone it's too strong). I just really want a giant bowl of Frito's right now - with french onion dip......

Ugh, so much meat ...are you doing lots of veggies too ? So, are you & Kelly planning on eating like this the rest of your life? What's going to happen once you start eating "normal" again? And I sure could go for a big greasy slice of pizza right now !!!! : ) |

On the one hand - I am doing the snoopy dance. On the other - that huge slice of pizza sounds awesome, but then, so does a giant salad. We are only allowed 2 servings of veggies per day - and I am used to a lot more. When we're done with this phase of the diet, we are supposed to slooooowly add in other stuff while maintaining "good portion control" (in other words, know your serving size). We will be counting calories and carbs heavily for a while. Kelly gets to start this earlier than I do since he only had about 50 lbs to loose. I still have around 70. I am hoping they fall off quick, cos I am getting really tired of meat.
