Off to nap, up at 4, clean the house, run a few errands, go to SFO, sit around for 2 hours, board a plane, sit around for 10 hours, get the Underground to King's Cross, ride a train for 2 hours, arrive in York utterly exhausted, call for the car to our Home for the next 3 days (http://www.middlethorpe.com/), check in, have tea, fall into a stupor. That's vacation day one <lol>. Two full days to explore York/Jorvik, the up to Edinburgh. Hotel is RIGHT next to the Castle, with a view of it from the room's windows. Nice. Three days there...just enough to say Hi and see if we want to go back another time : ). Then it's down to London for a week! Never tire of that town. Best shows ever, great places to have tea, fabulous day-trip possibilities. PLan to hit Camdentown for clothes, and Highgate Cemetary again, this time with a camera 'cause it's so beautiful. Maybe take a trip out to Cambridge, and another to Oxford (we ALWAYS go to Oxford for a day), maybe someplace else. I don't like to over plan. Just go and see were the whims take us. So very much looking forward to those first three days at the National Trust property in York. I can pretend that it's my own stately home <sigh>. I love starting a vacation nice and slow and quiet, and this place is 1.5 miles out of town, so I think it will be ideal. We'll see. Anyhow, I'm finally starting to look forward to it, which is really nice : ). Once the long travel day is over, I hope that it will all be fabulous : ). Expect mondo pictures and babbling about it all when I get back! Have a great couple of weeks here while the cat's away!! I'll miss my daily dose of you guys, but I'm sure that you'll keep the home fires burning for rme : ). See you in 2 weeks!! WOOT!

I never seem to blog nowadays, since I started vlogging on YouTube. But hey, I can do a meme <g>. Sniped from Sean. 1. Who was the last person to call you baby? I don't think anyone calls me that. 2. I'd say that my husband is a HUGE part of my happiness, but I don't actually know if I *need* someone. Before I was married, I was always with someone, but it was more a matter of enjoying having someone to do things with, not really a need. 47. If you could have any job what would it be? Dominar of a vast estate ; ). 48. Are you easy to get along with? Usually. When I'm not, I generally try to keep to myself. 49. What is your favorite time of day? Morning, if I accomplish a lot. Bed time, if I think I'm going to actually sleep. 50. Are you a generally happy person? I would say so. I have a lot to be happy about. I'm kind of a grumpy person, but I'm still *happy*.

It's the weekend, finally, after a 40-day work week!! Woo-Frakin'-Hoo!! I worked hard, had a fun show, saw TONS of my friends and made some new ones, pocketed a bit of change, did some networking, and am SO happy it's over <g>. And I made "Meat People" of two more Tribers (three, really, and a lovely sister, too!!), so now I actually KNOW more that 50% of my Tribe Friends, which rocks : ). I love meeting you guys. I aim to meet you all before this is over <lol>. It's going to be a great week....I can feel it. Thank you all for putting up with me during the past couple of months. Now you get a break from me talking about nothing but work for a while. YAY!

Just spoke with the frame company, and they're going to send out new ones...hopefully SOON. She said she'd try to rush it, but we'll see. Just hope these ones don't arrive broken, too <lol>. The good thing is that she said I could donate the broken ones (or hell, maybe I'll try to repair them AFTER the show, when I have time), so I don't even have to worry about shipping them back. All very good, as long as I get replacements in time : ). Yay!

Didn't wanna say anything until we saw the vet this morning. All clear except for a little runny eye issue, and an adult cat at the breeder's house was sneezing, so I'm thinking it will clear up on it's own now that he's away from there. So, this is Churchill : ). He's going to be my scapegoat for all typos and bizarre computer things for a while, since he loves to walk on the keyboard. Silly thing. I've always wanted a blue male....ever since I first saw the breed in 1989, in the movie Pet Sematary. We named him after the adorable blue male zombie cat in that movie <lol>. Hopefully, he won't eat anyone's brain. But, YAY! New kitten!!!! The only bad thing is that Ophelia, who NEVER hissed at nor smacked Titus, immediately got all hackles up and pissy about the little cat. So I'm keeping them separated when I'm not in the room, and expect the transition to take a few weeks. Wish me luck on that. Just have to make sure everyone's claws are kept short <g>. But, still, new kitten!! CUTE!!

I shudder at the thought...

5 un-wrappable things that I want for Christmas. 1. Perfect health, or at least the drive to make the health that I can control the best that it can be. 2. Sex. More sex. Lots of sex. I only had it twice this year!! TWICE! 3. Space dust to fall on everyone in the world to teach them compassion. For themselves and for others. 4. More time with the people in my life. Friends, family, acquaintances, loved ones. I value going places and sharing experience MUCH more than a gift under the tree. 5. To be able to put a down payment on our eventual retirement property. Dunno if Santa deals in Real Estate, but it sure would be nice.

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Paper. Whether it's brown paper, rice paper, handmade paper, or whathaveyou, it's going to be color coordinated and over the top <lol>. 2. Real tree or Artificial? Real, 'cause I love the smell. 3. When do you put up the tree? If I do it (about every other year), as early as I can and still have it green on Xmas. 4. When do you take the tree down? Usually by New Year's Day. 5. Do you like eggnog? I never did, until I had Bud's Eggnog, and OMG, that stuff is gooooooooood. 6. Favorite gift received as a child: My first gun, from my stepfather, which my mother promptly took away <lol>. 7. Hardest person to buy for? I used to love finding the perfect thing, but now everyone HAS everything, so everyone. 8. Easiest person to buy for? My BFF. I see things all year that I think "she'd LOVE this". 9. Do you have a nativity scene? Nope. I'm a godless heathen. 10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Cards! Though I have done ecards for people that I don't have snail addresses for, you can't put those on the mantel, so meh. 11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
