Ridge has this wonderful ability to see others' for whom they truly are. Most have never once communicated consciously on the deep level that this woman does with a natural sort of ease. It's been awhile since I've been graced with the presence of someone so honestly altruistic, and subtly powerful, like a fierce calm that somehow defies any literary description that I could hope to muster while sitting at my computer stoned. In a macho desert environment, where so many of the women I encountered seemed to set out with something to prove, Ridge was truly set apart. I feel fortunate to have been granted this opportunity to get to know her, especially since she helped salvage the last shred of my sanity, just by simply being there. If you have the willingness to be honest with yourself, this creature will accept you for who are.... Just don't tell her you find her daughter attractive, because it will be soooooorta awkward when you find out how young she is, lol :D
